Highlights

  • Remotion clips (@frameshell/remotion, new): Remotion (React) compositions as timeline clips, rendered with alpha and layered with footage and HyperFrames clips. Compositions can import components from your own app, outside the Frameshell project; editing them re-renders automatically. Uses your project's Remotion and its remotion.config.ts (Tailwind and other webpack overrides). Remotion's own licence applies. See ADR 0009.

Platform notes

  • macOS: signed and notarized (Apple silicon and Intel).
  • Linux: beta, not yet verified by hand. CI builds the .deb and AppImage and runs the end-to-end suite on Ubuntu x64. On Linux arm64, HyperFrames and Remotion clips cannot render (no headless Chrome build).
  • Windows: the installer is unsigned. SmartScreen warns on first run ("More info" → "Run anyway").

Official plugins: frameshell plugin install @frameshell/whisper-cpp, @frameshell/hyperframes and @frameshell/remotion (0.1.0 on npm). Full list of changes: CHANGELOG.md.
