October 30, 2026 hotfix: Fixes Gaming Mode startup on Xbox Ally X running Anatase Linux. The launcher preserves Steam's selected display and restores its X11 connection through Flatpak. Confirmed by the reporter. Extract the updated Installation.zip over your existing source folder and replace files; this launcher fix needs no rebuild. Hotfix source.
Adds ten achievements, fixes lingering animated-text trails at high refresh rates, and fixes Steam Deck Game Mode startup.
- Earn achievements for Crash Zone medals, Driving 101 golds, race wins, Championship and Pursuit completions, starting boosts, Burnout x15, and a fast Crystal Summit Peak Time Attack lap.
- Track progress in the new Achievements tab. Unlock notifications include an icon, sound, and fade-in/fade-out animation. Disable tracking without losing progress, or reset achievements after confirmation.
- Animated-text trails now fade correctly at higher refresh rates. The fix uses a compact graphics buffer to limit its extra memory use.
- Steam Deck Game Mode keeps X11 available alongside Wayland. Startup errors are logged before displaying the error dialog.
Windows Release build, all 52 CPU diagnostic groups, all 264 render checks, and the settings/achievement UI checks passed. Launcher syntax and ShellCheck passed, along with X11/Wayland display checks, abstract X11 sockets, and host wrappers that change DISPLAY. Gaming Mode startup is confirmed by users on Steam Deck and Xbox Ally X with Anatase. Linux performance and macOS gameplay still need hardware validation.
Download Installation.zip and extract it over your existing source folder, keeping build and data. Rerun Install.cmd on Windows, Install.desktop on Linux, or Install.command on macOS. Back up your saves, settings, achievement progress, imported music and mods first; the README includes the paths and complete achievement list.
