Flagship 2.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 22 Oct 22:35

Improved

  • The menu bar item is a little boat with a flag, like Flagship's icon.

Flagship 2.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 22 Oct 21:25

New

  • A welcome tour on first launch, back any time from Help > Welcome to Flagship.
  • Tips appear the first time you visit a part of Flagship, and go away once you've tried what they show.
  • Pro tips on empty pages teach a new trick each time, from shortcuts to routines and Knowledge. Turn them off in Settings > General.

Improved

  • A task you add goes to the top of its section, where you can see it.
  • The menu bar item opens on its overview again when it has been closed for a minute, instead of on the last event or task shown.
  • Overlapping events in the sidebar's Up Next are marked "Conflict".
  • On an event's page the invite stays at the top, and a long list of people folds to its first few, with Show All.
  • The menu bar item takes far less room: the next event's title over how soon it starts, in two small lines.
  • Settings > Menu Bar sets how wide the next event's title runs beside the flag.

Flagship 2.1.0

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 21 Oct 09:19

Improved

  • System alert notifications can be snoozed 1, 5 or 10 minutes from their Options menu, with Pro.
  • Edit a task's title and note by clicking them on its page, and add or remove its links there.
  • Deleting every section keeps the list empty, with a button to add one, instead of bringing Now, Next, Later and Done back at the next launch.
  • Now, Next and Later are red, yellow and purple by default.
  • All Tasks leaves out finished tasks; they stay in Done.

Fixed

  • Signing in and starting the Pro trial no longer fail with "could not save the sign-in to the Keychain".

Also in this release, from 2.0.0, which was not published on its own:

New

  • Alerts before your events, as a system notification with Join Call, or full screen on every display in the calendar's color, with the meeting's details, Join Now and Dismiss. Settings > Alerts picks the style and shows a test alert, and with Pro sets how many minutes before, snoozing, the color, and exceptions for events whose title contains, is or matches a regex.
  • Flagship in the menu bar: your next meeting's title and countdown beside the flag, and a click away, your coming events with their calls, your open tasks, a field to add one, and each one's details. With Pro, Settings > Menu Bar picks what it shows.
  • Gathering context for new tasks on their own, and picking how hard it works, are part of Flagship Pro.

Improved

  • The Calendar page opens at once, its events filling in as they load.
  • Opening the Calendar or the menu bar fetches what changed on your other devices, and Flagship reads your calendars far less often in the background.
  • The work days in Settings are buttons of one width.
  • Sections and the sidebar's icons have softer colours.
  • A section's own page lists its tasks without repeating the section's header.
  • The Done section is gray unless you give it a colour.
  • Settings no longer has Other Folders: the agents work in Flagship's own folder, where your Knowledge and Notes live.
  • A task or event with no context yet offers Gather Context, Prepare and Draft Agenda as small buttons above its agent's message field, instead of a large card on its page.

Fixed

  • On Flagship Free, an event's agent takes the one agent that may work at a time, the same as a task's.

Flagship 1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 20 Oct 23:26

New

  • Calendar in the sidebar: your day from the calendars on your Mac, with a month at the top, and a + to add an event, or click and drag along the hours to make one. Open an event to join its call, edit it, see its invite and have its own agent prepare you for it or draft an agenda. Settings > Calendar picks which calendars show, and can hide all-day events and birthdays.
  • Up Next above the assistant: your next meeting (and any it clashes with), how soon it starts, where, and a button to join its call. Settings > Calendar sets how far ahead it looks.

Improved

  • The sidebar is tidier: everything but Tasks sits under Workspace, and New Note is a button on the Notes row.
  • Cleaner headers: each list's title is larger and sits in the toolbar, with its New button at the right.

Flagship 1.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 20 Oct 09:04

Improved

  • Each task in the list says what its agent is up to: working on it, needs your OK, has a question, or ready to check. In a narrow list it sits under the title.

Flagship 1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 20 Oct 08:44

New

  • Flagship Pro: put every task's agent to work at once, run any number of routines, give the agents your own folders and open the assistant in Claude Code's terminal. Try it free for 14 days from Settings > Pro. Free keeps one task agent working at a time and one routine; nothing you made is deleted.

Improved

  • Activity gives each change the full width, with its time under it, and its filter is a small button beside the title.
  • Send Feedback can include a screenshot of the window, if you tick the box.
  • The Notes icon in the sidebar is a softer gold.
  • The window is titled Flagship in the Window menu and Mission Control; each screen still shows its name at the top.
  • The sidebar and the list beside it can be dragged narrower.
  • New Note reopens a blank note instead of making another, and a note left blank and unopened for an hour goes to the Trash.
  • A new note in Notes suggests today's date as its title, faded; press Return or Tab to take it.
  • A note's first line always stays a title: delete its # and it comes back.
  • Moving a note or folder to the Trash asks first.
  • ⌘N makes whatever the page holds: a task, a note, a conversation or a routine.

Fixed

  • The section editor's colours and icons fit inside it again.

Flagship 0.8.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 20 Oct 01:06

New

  • Notes: quick notes in folders, under Tasks in the sidebar. Take one with Quick Note or ⌥⌘N. The assistant searches them when they could help, without filling its context with them.
  • ⌘O finds tasks and notes together, from anywhere, showing where each one is.
  • Help › Send Feedback… sends a note straight to the developer, with your email if you want a reply.
  • Right-click a task's link to copy it or change its label and address.
  • Settings › Assistant can gather context for every task the assistant or a routine adds, and sets how hard gathering works.
  • Tasks the assistant or a routine adds from a thread or email start with a few lines of context from it.

Improved

  • The assistant and task agents are set up for your work rather than for writing code: plainer replies, and they ask before sending anything on your behalf.
  • A note's first line is its title: the note is named after it as you type, and the title no longer shows twice.

Fixed

  • Shift-Return starts a new line in the message box, and Command-Return always sends.

Flagship 0.7.1

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 17 Oct 01:24

Improved

  • Agents start sooner: Flagship reads your shell profile once per launch instead of before every reply, and a profile that hangs no longer stops them starting.

Flagship 0.7.0

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 14 Oct 07:45

New

  • Keep several conversations with the assistant and switch between them while each keeps working. Open the assistant to see them listed beside the one you're in, start a new one (also from the sidebar), or delete old ones.
  • The assistant starts a fresh conversation after an hour of quiet, clearing what you typed and didn't send. Change how long, or turn it off, in Settings.

Flagship 0.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@gabriellanata gabriellanata released this 14 Oct 07:29

New

  • Open any task from anywhere with ⌘O.
  • Messages and notes show tables, nested lists and checkboxes.
  • Routines can find the tasks they added and close the ones you already handled, saying why in the activity feed.

Improved

  • The activity feed is colored by what happened, with the time at the end of each row.
  • ⌘F in a Knowledge note searches that note instead of your tasks.
  • Long conversations and large Knowledge folders load faster.
  • The update window lists what changed in every release since yours, with a link to all release notes.

Fixed

  • If Flagship cannot open your task list, it sets the file aside and tells you before starting, instead of starting empty without a word.
