pyaww v0.1.0 (beta)

The first public beta of Pyaww (ပြော) — menu bar dictation for Myanmar. Hold a modifier key, speak, release: the Myanmar text is pasted where you're typing. Everything runs on your Mac.

• Hold Right Option (⌥) (or Right Command), speak Myanmar, release to paste; Esc cancels
• Fully offline: the Myanmar Conformer speech model is bundled — audio never leaves your Mac, and the app makes no network requests
• Click the menu-bar wave for the panel: permissions, hotkey, durations, Myanmar word segmentation, clipboard-safe pasting, sound cue, launch at login, model status, Quit
• Recordings that run to the 30 s limit are transcribed from the captured audio

Requirements: macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, Apple silicon (M1 or newer).

Install: open the DMG and run the installer, then follow the first-launch steps — macOS will block the app (free-distribution signing, not notarized): System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. Grant Microphone and Accessibility when prompted. Full walkthrough, including a Terminal fallback, in the README.
