This release makes your workspace more resilient by saving layout changes as
they happen. It also adds easier resizing controls and improves layouts on
portrait displays.
Features
- Glide now saves your layout and enabled Spaces as they change, so they can be
restored after a crash or forced quit during the same login session
(3a227c4). - Press Alt+Ctrl+0 to divide every container on the current Space evenly,
undoing any manual resizing (#238). - Press Alt+Ctrl+= or Alt+Ctrl+- to grow or shrink the focused window
along its container's axis. The same two keys work in rows, columns, and
tabbed or stacked groups (#239). - New layouts now adapt to the display: windows sit side by side on landscape
displays and stack vertically on portrait displays
(#242).
Bug Fixes
- Leave native macOS fullscreen Spaces unmanaged, so other windows opened there
float instead of becoming hidden in a layout behind the fullscreen window
(#257). - Remove a leftover group bar after the last window on a Space closes, while
preserving the Space's portrait or landscape orientation
(#258,
08468f7). - Avoid creating and observing Glide's own windows when group bars are disabled
(#254).
