Installation

$ npm install

Start mysql using docker

docker-compose up

Some important docker commands

docker-compose down # Removes the container
docker-compose down -v # Remove the created volumes as well
docker-compose up -d # -d will run the compose file in background
docker-compose build # This will just build an image
docker volume rm VOLUME_NAME # Reinitializing the Docker container requires deleting the volume
docker volume ls # list all volume

Some important mysql commands

mysql> CREATE USER 'root'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'PASSWORD';
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'root'@'%' WITH GRANT OPTION;
mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

Running the app

# development
$ npm run start

# watch mode
$ npm run start:dev

# production mode
$ npm run start:prod

Test

# unit tests
$ npm run test

# e2e tests
$ npm run test:e2e

# test coverage
$ npm run test:cov
