Timbre 26.1028.0

Choose a tag to compare

@stringwright stringwright released this 28 Oct 20:34
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

Timbre has a new look: slanted buttons, glass panels and one gold action to a screen, from your Library to Paint.

New

  • Dragging a model now turns it the way Blender does; Settings → Appearance can reverse it.
  • The texture picker lists the likeliest textures first for each map, and the model view's bars line up.
  • Paint's sheet view and the layers sit beside the model instead of over it.
  • Pointing at a texture in the texture picker shows it on the model before you choose it.
  • The model view's tools, panels and bars sit side by side and no longer cover each other, at any window size.
  • When an update can't bring a few mods along, the rest of your library still opens, and Health lists those mods with Try again.
  • Importing your convene history needs one press: open Convene History in the game and Timbre carries on, banner by banner.
  • In game opens as a full page: a tab for each character on screen, and pointing at her or a part lights it in the game.
  • Convene is on the rail: import your pull history, see your pity and plan pulls along it.
  • Timbre has a new icon: a glowing Chladni figure, the pattern sand draws on a plate ringing at an overtone.
  • Convene is one page: plan pulls along your pity, see what each five-star took, and replay every ten-pull.
  • A character wearing a mix shows one outfit at a time on her page; point at a band or pick a bar to see another.
  • The tools, bars and panels of Paint, Fit and the model view wear the same glass and square-cut corners as the rest of Timbre.
  • Health refreshes as mods appear or leave the library, and Check again rereads every tidy-up.
  • Inside opens straight on the mod's description, scrolls, and a tap on the slant gives the text the whole page.
  • The update page shows the new Timbre downloading, and offers Update now once it has arrived.
  • On a mod's Inside tab, each change kept over an update shows a picture of your texture and the update's.
  • Quitting Timbre with an unsaved description edit now asks whether to save it first.
  • A mod's page has an Inside tab that reads its description in plain words; a row opens the file right on the picture.
  • A mod's description reads as clean text, each problem said in plain words under its line.
  • Browse's and Downloads' top picture now sits below the window's bar, so search and Play stand clear of it.
  • Search and Play stay readable over pictures at the top of a page, on a soft patch of glass.
  • Health shows every kind of problem and tidy-up in a list on the left, and the one you pick beside it with its fix.
  • The buttons that choose how a mod's picture shows stand on their own glass, readable on any picture.
  • Strings and numbers in a mod's description are now coloured apart.
  • Every mod's pictures open in one viewer with zoom, copy, remove and make cover, from the pane, a row or the grid.
  • Tap a mod's picture to see it whole right on its page, then copy it or make it the cover.
  • Downloads shows each step a mod takes as it lands, and an archive that will not open asks for another file.
  • Rename a character or weapon, or change its picture, right on its page: press Edit and type over its name.
  • A weapon's page now opens on the same big header as a character's, and a weapon mod can be filed under any weapon when you add it.
  • Hints look the same everywhere and never hide behind the header, and the Library's selection marks match the buttons.
  • Adding mods from files no longer keeps the import window open: they show in Downloads and land there, one after another.
  • Browse and Downloads open on a wide picture running to the window's top, and Downloads shows what is next beside the arriving mod.
  • The Mod grid setting offers Even and Masonry; a grid set to Slanted shows as Even.
  • Your Mod grid choice now shapes the mod pictures on GameBanana, Downloads and History too.
  • Tooltips now wear the same dark plate and sharp corners as the rest of Timbre.
  • Dialogs, menus and floating bars now have the same sharp corners as the buttons they hold.
  • Rows, small buttons and banners across Timbre now share the slanted cut of its buttons, and a chosen row lights its edge.
  • History takes back your last 30 days, and Health's Tidy up shows the space old versions take, with Let go to free it.
  • Every mod you add or update shows in History, where Take back removes it again and Put back returns it.
  • Report a problem now follows each report on GitHub and says when a release fixes it, and when you have the fix.
  • Downloads opens on the same hero as Browse, turning through what you added last while nothing is arriving.
  • Play now shows what the game is doing: each step as it starts, who is on screen, and why your mods are missing.
  • Opening a character is smooth: her portrait flies into her page, which arrives complete, and her mods rise in.
  • Banners are frosted glass, show the mod's cover in its character's colour, and put Open on the right.
  • What's new lists every earlier release under its version, so you can read any release's notes in Timbre.
  • History takes back any change, not only the newest, wherever the mods it changed are still as it left them.
  • Downloads and History are pages of their own: watch what's arriving, cancel a download outright, and take back a change from its card.
  • Updates and what's new open as a full page: the highlights with their pictures, every change one press away, readable offline.
  • Type a setting's name in the Ctrl+K search to jump straight to it in Settings.
  • Settings → In game → Keys marks a key two of Overtone's actions share in amber and names the other.
  • Settings opens as a page of its own beside the rail, with a search and every section listed down the side.
  • Opening a mod no longer stretches or jumps its picture, and a worn mod in the Slanted grid shows a lit edge.
  • The top of Timbre's window now shows its name, centred above the app.
  • Messages now arrive as cards in the bottom-right corner: trouble stays until you deal with it, and progress shrinks to a slim strip.
  • Settings → Appearance can keep the window's controls always shown instead of hiding them at the top edge.
  • Choose how a character's mods are laid out in Settings → Appearance: an even grid, slanted tiles or masonry.
  • Ctrl+K searches GameBanana, and Browse's hero adds a mod to your library in one press.
  • Browse opens on the week's most liked mod, your characters with what is new for each, and rows that open whole.
  • Browse's tiles show a mod's other pictures as you move across them and say what you already have.
  • Settings → Appearance → Mod pictures chooses how every mod's page shows its picture.
  • A mod's page can show its picture fitted, whole, or behind the whole page, switched from the picture.
  • Installing from a GameBanana page now shows its progress there and turns the page into the installed mod.
  • A character's header fits your window and shows each mod's picture whole, without cutting off heads.
  • Choosing a character in Health and the in-game panel uses the same search as adding a mod.
  • Choosing whom a mod is for now looks like its files: a search and every character by her element.
  • Choose mods with the round check on each tile, then Wear, Mix, Group, Move or Delete them from the bar below.
  • Adding a mod now flows from the Add panel into its page, and the page no longer shows the library through it.
  • Clicking a mod on a character's page opens its full page; Back returns to her mods.
  • A character's page has a row above her mods with Find, Mix and the filter, and her header is quieter.
  • Adding a mod from a link, an archive or an update now opens as a full page with room for its pictures and files.
  • Add a mod links to the game's page on GameBanana, to find a mod to paste.
  • Add a mod now dims the window: drop a mod anywhere, paste a GameBanana link, or choose files.
  • Opening a mod now carries its picture from the grid into its panel and on to its full page.
  • A character whose mods change the same part now shows an amber dot on her Library tile.
  • A mod's side panel and its full page now look like the character page, with Wear in place of Enabled.
  • A character's page opens on a large picture of what she wears, which folds into the top bar as you scroll.
  • Ctrl+K shows your recent characters, pictures for every result, and what each character is wearing.
  • Adding or updating a mod now shows it as its page will look, with clearer, shorter messages when something is wrong.
  • The Library shows each character's avatar on her element's colour, with what she wears, and filters by element.
  • While the game runs with Overtone, Play becomes In game and opens what the game is drawing.
  • The top bar stays clear until the page scrolls under it, and Search is a button in the bar.
  • Downloads stay in the left bar with a ring that fills as they arrive, and the bar's marker glides to where you are.
  • The window now takes the colour of the character you're looking at, and the colour of whoever your pointer rests on in the Library.
  • A mod's pane and page let you set its cover, hide a picture with Undo, and add pictures by dropping or pasting them.
  • A mod's page shows every screenshot whole in its strip, and its arrows sit centred.
  • A mod's page edits its author, version and link the way adding a mod does: ✎, type, Enter.
  • Updating a mod from its GameBanana page now picks the file that replaces it whole and warns about any other, as a mod's own Update does.
  • Opening an archive in a list of several now unfolds it into the same sheet as a single import, and nothing jumps while archives load.
  • Adding a mod from GameBanana and importing an archive now look the same, with the author, version and link editable in place.
  • Meshes you bring into a mod in Blender, from another mod, WWMI-Tools or a file, now bend with the character as soon as you save.
  • On a Mac you can drag a GameBanana link from your browser onto Timbre to add the mod.
  • Every screen has one back arrow in the same corner, and it returns to th...

Overtone runtime 26.1028.0

Choose a tag to compare

@stringwright stringwright released this 28 Oct 20:34
Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

Mods for every character get their textures right on a fresh install of the game's latest version, on HD and UHD textures.

New

  • Lynae's black undershirt no longer shows over outfits that replace her body.
  • Suoming's skirt shadow is gone from her first frame, and Mix lists it so you can keep or hide it.
  • Mods that swap the game's UHD textures find them after one play at UHD, and learning textures costs your frame far less.
  • Mods for Cartethyia's Fleurdelys form get their textures right on a fresh install of the game's latest version.
  • What Overtone ships about each character now applies to your game on every PC, not only the one it was recorded on.
  • The in-game Wardrobe now says when mods won't draw because Timbre and Overtone are different versions, and what to do.
  • Parts are named for what they are, such as Face · Part 2, in Timbre, the game's Mix page and Blender.
  • The In game page shows the game's own picture of a character no mod of yours dresses, and Take again takes a new one.
  • Suoming's mods, and recent outfits of twelve more characters, get their textures right on a fresh install.
  • Mods that draw from more than one of a character's meshes now get the same textures on every machine.
  • Accessories and reworked pieces in mods get their textures right on a fresh install too.
  • The Loadout page shows every character at once: open any loadout, dress it in place, and set the in-game wheel from Timbre.
  • What a switch needs of another now names its positions as the overlay does, Chinese and pinyin names read.
  • Every slanted edge in Timbre leans a little less, from the header's picture to the buttons.
  • Every picture now has the same small corners as the buttons, and the import page's rows line up.
  • Lists, highlights and warnings stand straight now; only buttons and the things you press keep the slanted cut.
  • Buttons, fields, menus and rows share the header's slanted cut, and what is chosen lights along its edge.
  • Report a problem is now a page that shows what goes with your report, the mods from your last game, and each report you sent.
  • Settings is simpler: eight sections, a search, and in-game options kept for each game on its own.
  • Unnamed pieces are called Part 3.017 in Blender and in descriptions, and your library moves to the new names on its own.
  • A mod is set up again by itself when Overtone learns more about its character, instead of keeping an older guess.
  • The log now lists the DirectX files a game loaded and says if it draws with DirectX 11, to find why mods do not show.

Better

  • A large mod library loads into the game about a fifth faster.
  • Dumping a character stalls the game far less: a large dump held the game for up to 20 ms, now under 1.
  • Mods load about a fifth faster when the game starts and each time a change to them is picked up.

Fixed

  • Dumping a mix of an older mod and a newer one now works instead of being refused.
  • Mods that pick their textures draw by draw, such as Suoming's Distant Land Dancer, wear the right textures on every piece.
  • Playing before Timbre has opened your library after an update no longer leaves what the game showed under the old version.
  • Hsin - Velvet's borrowed body now moves with Hsin instead of standing still.
  • Attacking or clicking while wearing a mod with its own help or menu no longer reloads your mods on every click.
  • A mod's weapon no longer takes another part's colours after you play the character again on a new game version.
  • Character screens show a mod's own textures: Denia's face and Zani's suit there now match what you see in the world.
  • Overtone guesses fewer wrong texture roles; a texture it is unsure of is left for you to place.
  • Mods whose key cycles back through a colour, like CHRONOPATTERN Alt's Fleurdelys colours, no longer fail to import.
  • The runtime log no longer drops lines in busy scenes, and a session's log is about a fifth smaller.
  • Hsin - Velvet, which puts Galbrena's body on Hsin, draws whole again, in Hsin's shading for now.
  • A mod Overtone can draw only in part, like Hsin - Velvet, is put back as its author shipped it rather than drawn half.
  • Iuno's sandals and other parts that share a texture with another part now wear a mod's or a dump's textures for it.
  • Mods that keep their outfit in a subfolder, like Suoming's Summer swimsuit, show the whole outfit again, not only the hair.
  • A mod whose pack holds a folder missing its mesh files updates again instead of stopping with "would name another piece".
  • Suoming's mods are listed under Suoming, and a mod filed after installing is no longer refused when Overtone updates it.
  • Reduce motion set to Never or Always in Settings now holds on every screen, whatever the system asks.
  • After a power cut, a mod whose files were cut short is rebuilt the next time Timbre starts instead of drawing broken.
  • An edited mod no longer draws stale bones far away or after a game update, and what the game learns of a mod is no longer lost.
  • An older Overtone no longer changes a mod library that a newer Overtone or Timbre has already updated.
  • A key press, a preset and Timbre writing a mod's switches at the same moment no longer lose one of them.
  • A mods folder macOS keeps Timbre out of now says so, opens the setting that allows it, and never loses pictures in an update.
  • A new mod is named for its character even where another mod of your library was filed under someone else.
  • Suoming is known by name, so her mods and dumps are filed under her.
  • Settings shows the Blender Timbre opens, or Not found; the recorder names its stop key; dump and Play messages follow your language.
  • The in-game overlay's On screen tab, a worn mod's switches and Mix's highlights find your mods again whatever case their folders use.
  • Play now starts Wuthering Waves on DirectX 12, which fixes mods not showing on PCs where the game picked DirectX 11.
  • Timbre, the overlay and the MCP tools call each section of a character a part, as Blender and the guides do.

Fixed

  • An AI tool that asks Overtone for something its version does not know is told so, rather than answered without it.
  • Timbre and any number of AI tools can follow the game at once; a new one is no longer turned away as busy.
  • Help's report on the last run keeps every fault and its start time while the game runs.
  • Timbre's description pane and Borrow read a mod's switches and conditions however its description spells them.

Save diagnostics now includes the game's own crash report and ReShade's log, and can include the hang dump.

New

  • Timbre's setup now shows the beta terms for you to accept before it installs.

Fixed

  • Completing a choice of several words in a condition now writes it in quotes, so the condition still reads
  • When the model view cannot draw a mod, Timbre says so and lets you close it, rather than going blank.
  • A mod whose file ends in .INI is now named in Health with the rename it needs, and one named ~DISABLED is read as WWMI reads it.
  • The texture picker and Paint name maps as modders do (Diffuse, Light map), and a Zenless Zone Zero mod's picker offers its own maps.
  • A mod's Outfit row now names the outfit it is listed under, even after the outfit it was filed under is renamed.

The library has a Weapons tab beside Characters once you have a weapon mod, and a weapon inside an outfit switches on its own.

New

  • A finished download can now be cancelled while it installs, and one interrupted mid-install is finished on the next start.
  • A weapon inside a mod pack is shown with its outfit's name and cover, and Health files a pack's weapons by name.
  • A weapon inside a mod pack gets a folder named for it, out of any empty folder it shipped in.
  • Updating a mod pack keeps each weapon inside it, with its choices, even after its folder was renamed.
  • Turning an outfit on now turns on the weapon that came with it, and you can still turn the weapon off on its own.
  • Another mod manager's backup, temp and restore folders are no longer listed as mods, and Health offers to clear them. (#4)
  • Health lists mod folders not named after their character and mod, and renames them all with one press.
  • Renaming a mod or moving it to another character renames its folder to match, and an update still finds a renamed mod.
  • A mod you import or download is named once, and Timbre files its folder as Character - Name, such as Chisa - Radiant.
  • Importing several mods shows each one's progress, and Cancel stops an import before anything is added.
  • Health can update a mod anyway past its warning, and Undo puts it back.
  • Health lists the mods an update left as they were, with why, and the update's notice opens it.
  • When you add a mod from an archive, Timbre shows the character it is for and fills in its author, link and version.

Better

  • Turning a mod on or off does less work behind the scenes, so the page settles sooner.
  • The Loadout page updates faster after you turn a mod on or off.

Fixed

  • The Play button appears as soon as Timbre finds your game, without a restart.
  • Health's Not updated list names each mod, shows its cover and opens it to say why.
  • Renaming a choice now renames it in every condition, and the description pane stops warning about switches that exist.
  • Turning a mod on or off moves its switch at once, and the mod's panel no longer flickers.
  • Overtone guesses the roles of unlabelled mod textures by one set of rules, and its library check after an update runs faster.
  • A mod deleted outside Timbre stops being drawn and leaves your presets, and turning mods on and off is quick again.
  • Several mods dropped on a mod now ask whether they belong with it, and one dropped on a character's page lands under that character.
  • Switching presets no longer prepares the same textures again each time.
  • One press of Make native now makes every mod native it can, without pressing again.
  • Mods that only hide or retexture the game's own parts are no longer listed as not native in Health.
  • Mods without a cover show their character's art in Health instead of a black square.
  • Downloading or updating a mod no longer freezes Timbre while the archive unpacks.
  • Importing a mod no longer freezes Timbre, and the dialog shows that it is importing.

Report a problem in Settings saves your logs and opens a GitHub issue with your note already filled in.

New

  • Timbre's close, minimise and maximise buttons hide under the window and slide out when you rest the pointer at its top edge.
  • Timbre can turn off a feature that misbehaves in one game without a new release, and releases no longer show the flags list.
  • What's new links the issue a fix answers, and the issue is closed with the release that fixes it.
  • Report a problem can include the game's hang dump when one exists, if you tick it.
  • What's new can be narrowed to Overtone, Timbre or the MCP server, and lists everything since the Overtone you ran.
  • Timbre now offers to report a problem when the game closes after one, and has a Report button at the foot of the left bar.
  • Updates now show highlights for Overtone, Timbre and the MCP server to swipe through, and Play checks for an update first.

Fixed

  • Timbre's model view shows a Zenless Zone Zero mod whole, its hair, body and weapon together.
  • The highlight card in What's new no longer shows the next card through it.

Mix in game shows each outfit as a column of checkboxes, keeps what you point at lit, and asks before dropping changes.

New

  • Pointing at a piece in Timbre's Mix lights it in game without slowing the game.
  • The saved diagnostics list the game's DirectX files, and the log says when the game has not used Overtone's after a minute.
  • Timbre's runtime options now list only the settings a player changes; old troubleshooting switches are gone.

Better

  • The Mix page opens faster, in game and in Timbre, most for a character with many outfits
  • In game, the Mix page lights the piece you point at for as long as you point at it, without slowing the game.

Fixed

  • A mod's normal map on hair or a face, which the game never shows, is no longer put on them.
  • Outfits that carry a bone remap no longer come out with twisted legs or bodies after an update.
  • Mods that pick their textures by WWMI's format filters, like Slap's Hsin, Suisui and Yangyang outfits, wear their textures again.
  • Rover (Male) mods now get their textures without anyone having to play him first.
  • The Mix page in game and in Timbre agree on what a part shows, and no longer call a part bare where the game's own shows.
  • With ray tracing on, a mod that changes one part of a character, such as her face, now draws.
  • Aemeath mods whose hash fix moved a light map onto the normal map draw their own light map again.
  • With ray tracing on, an accessory worn beside an outfit now draws, and the outfit with it, instead of the game's own.
  • Mods with their own UV layout no longer turn see-through in a skill form, such as Suisui's knees in her ink form.
  • Mods an earlier update left on outdated bone weights, like Hsin's Azur Bunny, are rebuilt so they no longer stretch.
  • Mods that work out their bone map size, rather than writing it as a number, no longer stretch once made native.
  • With ray tracing on, an outfit turned on while playing now shows instead of the character's own clothes.
  • Mods that bring their own copy of WWMI's bone remapper, like Slap's Hsin outfits, no longer stretch or twist once made native.
  • A key that steps through outfits is no longer dropped when one of its steps applies in every state
  • An update's conflict over a look or a switch's condition now reads with your mod's own option and choice names
  • An update no longer marks a look as changed when only the wording of its condition differs, and a look conflict reads as the file says it
  • Timbre and the in-game Mix page agree on which pieces an outfit wears, and an outfit another one covers no longer shows as worn.
  • A description written by hand reads a choice spelled as a number the same way in its looks, conditions and defaults.
  • A greyscale PNG texture with a transparent shade now keeps its transparency.
  • A texture picked for one outfit of a mod that ships several in one folder no longer lands on the others
  • Mods that build more than one skeleton, like Setsuna no Chou for Shorekeeper, are no longer refused.
  • Textures picked for a mod whose key moves several values land where that key's look shows them, and explain tells what it draws
  • A mod split over two folders that stopped updating again after its other half updated updates again.
  • Turning off Talk to Timbre during a session stops dumps and screenshots being reported to Timbre.
  • With Talk to Timbre turned off, a dump or a screenshot no longer opens a channel to Timbre.
  • A mod split across folders, such as Hsin - Morning Mist, now changes every folder when you switch an option in one.
  • Mods split into several folders that share textures and switches, such as Hsin - Morning Mist, now wear them in every folder.
  • A modded body weighted to the game's own face or hands no longer trails them by a frame in motion.
  • A modded character no longer lags a frame behind the game's own face and hands while she moves.
  • A modded part weighted to the game's own face or hands now follows them in motion instead of breaking away.
  • A mod that edits the game's shaders, or binds a vertex buffer past the fifth, now behaves in Overtone as under WWMI.
  • The overlay saves settings only when you press Save, F7 keeps its own choice, and improved defaults reach settings you never changed.
  • A mod line with a note after a ; no longer hides a part XXMI shows, and shape keys work whatever their letter case or comments.
  • Outfits that pick their textures through nested RabbitFX lists, like Hsin - Morning Mist, now wear their own textures.
  • Hsin's Glimpse and Glimpse Ult mods can now be made native instead of being refused.
  • A mod that replaces only part of a character's model, like an outfit for Hsin's ultimate form, is now recognised as hers.
  • Settings you never changed now follow Overtone's defaults, so a better default reaches you with the update.
  • A mod shows under the same name in Timbre and in the game's overlay: the name its author gave it, else its folder's.
  • The overlay and Timbre agree on preset names: Beach and beach are one preset, and the wheel never makes a second Beach.
  • A dump no longer takes in a mesh of another character that shares only unused bones with the one you picked.
  • Mods turned on after the game started with none drawn now appear without restarting the game.
  • Mixing outfits in Timbre now shows what the game draws: an outfit you mix in is never dropped for another when you wear it.
  • The game always loads the mod library Timbre shows, even from an older settings file.
  • The log, the shader cache and edited shaders are kept again when your Windows user folder has letters outside English.

A character dressed by several mods, a hair and an outfit say, moves as one on every piece

New

  • A modded part weighted to a bone only the game's own face or hands carry follows it instead of freezing.
  • A mod keeps drawing right after a game update that renumbers a character's bones, near-identical bones included.
  • Nested mods are named by their own words, such as Bow or Chakram, instead of their folder's path.
  • Iuno's ring from an outfit mod wears the mod's own texture instead of the game's.
  • The in-game Wardrobe lists and groups your mods as Timbre does, one row a mod with its parts inside. (#4)
  • Weapons in packs you installed before keep your choices, picked textures and presets when they become mods of their own.
  • Aemeath's and Denia's signature weapons in mods now wear the mod's textures.
  • Weapons and props in mods like the Radiant packs now wear their own textures instead of the game's.
  • Weapon recolours in the Radiant packs for Hiyuki, Jingran, Brant, Qiuyuan and Yuanwu now show in game.
  • Weapon mods are now mods of their own, switched on and off apart from the outfit they came with.

Better

  • Modded characters cost less frame time to draw.
  • Clone skills with many afterimages, like Qingxiao's, cost far less frame time.

Fixed

  • A mod split over two folders that stopped updating after an Overtone update updates again and draws all its textures.
  • A mod you picked a texture for no longer loses it at some switch settings when Overtone updates.
  • Denia's Customization And Mega Wardrobe wears its own outfit in the open world, not its material maps.
  • Outfits whose texture files were renamed or re-saved by their author, or that turn a texture off, now show what the author shipped.
  • Mods whose textures an ini names with a leading backslash, like Denia's Remiel Alt in the overworld, now draw them.
  • A mod whose bone weights use the wide layout is paired with the game's bones correctly after a game update.
  • A weapon mod that names its own weapon is listed and switched as that weapon, even where its model matches another one.
  • Simple Hiyuki Sliders' Alt+4 puts back the switches Ctrl+Alt+4 saved, as it does in WWMI.
  • Some outfits now show their own normal map, and a few no longer wear a texture meant for another part.
  • A key that resets a mod's switches, like Ctrl+4 in Simple Hiyuki Sliders, now works in Overtone too.
  • Mods that recolour their outfits in game, like Denia's Customization And Mega Wardrobe, wear their own textures again.
  • Installing a mod whose key saves many sliders at once, like Simple Hiyuki Sliders, no longer hangs at Unpacking.
  • The game's log and saved diagnostics now name Overtone's version instead of a commit.
  • Keys that run a list kept in another of a mod's ini files now switch what that list changes.
  • Qingxiao's Cheongsam Bunny wears its own normal, light and material maps on every piece.
  • Mods whose extra ini files run shared lists, like Qingxiao - Crimson Blossom Decree, now wear the right textures on every piece.
  • Iuno's chakram ring in Moonlit Crystal no longer wears the game's shiny reflection texture as its colour.
  • Ciaccona's Dusty Bunny gun and staff wear the mod's own textures instead of her cloak, and its gun is a weapon mod of its own.
  • An outfit whose body sits in its own folder beside its weapon no longer splits apart when it updates.
  • Weapon mods that came inside an outfit are listed as their weapon's, not the character's.
  • The Mix page, in game and in Timbre, now offers every outfit the Library shows for a character. (#4)
  • A mod's keys now work beside another mod on the same character or her weapon, and a toggle key turns its part off again.
  • A texture or switch you change by hand in a mod's description now stays through updates, and the game shows it as soon as you save.
  • Hiding your UID no longer crashes the game now and then as it loads something new. (#4)
  • Mods you add or change in Timbre while the game runs show in the in-game Wardrobe the next time you open it. (#4)
  • The in-game Report's Mods cost shows a measured figure, or an estimate marked as one, instead of a made-up frame loss.
  • Accessories a mod hangs on a character's own small parts, like Roccia's glasses and sandals, now stay on her instead of floating.
  • Qingxiao's and Hiyuki's Radiant hair and eye colour options show in the normal form again instead of the second form's textures.
  • Recolours of props in the Radiant packs, such as Carlotta's rifles and Augusta's crest, now show in game.
  • Jingran's and Qingxiao's Radiant hair and eye colour options no longer show the other form's textures in the normal form.
  • Eye colour choices of Qingxiao mods now show on a first import instead of the legs texture.
  • Effect textures a mod ships for the game's shaders are no longer worn as a character's base colour, which tinted some halos and rings.
  • A weapon mod now draws in game, whether it is installed on its own or inside a character's mod.
  • The overlay says a preset was saved, worn or moved only once it was, and asks you to wear a mod before saving one.
  • A preset can no longer be saved with no mods on, and one that was is gone; a preset tells you once about a mod you removed.
  • Mods sitting side by side in one character's folder are no longer read as one mod.

Hide the UID in Settings → Drawing keeps your player ID off the screen and out of screenshots, the rest of the HUD as it was.

Fixed

  • The game no longer hitches for a moment while a character's face is moving.
  • The game no longer hitches for a moment while a mod's look is first prepared.
  • The game no longer hitches for a moment when a character first comes into view.
  • Mods with a separate ini per body now switch textures on every body, and liberation forms stay put between imports.
  • The game no longer stutters for a moment when mods first load.
  • Mods with several textures for one part keep every switch they had, and more of them show their own textures.
  • More of the video memory that mods let go of now goes back to the game.
  • Mods that swap several textures for one part, or ship a near-miss sheet beside it, now show the right texture instead of none.
