Face mask detector for detect mask faces on realtime processing. implementation in python and mxnet.

A Python script for real-time face mask detection using MobileNetV2 and OpenCV. It uses a pre-trained MobileNetV2 model as a feature extractor and a custom trained face mask detection model to classify whether a person is wearing a face mask or not.

This is a Face mask detector application build using OpenCV in Python. Here I used Tensorflow to build a model to find a face in a mask.

This project aims to detect whether a person is wearing a face mask or not using computer vision techniques and a convolutional neural network (CNN) model. If the person is wearing a face mask, the system will automatically open the door to allow entry else, the system will deny access and activate an alarm.

It can be used as a real-time surveillance system or integrated into existing security systems, such as CCTV. this AI can help reduce the spread of viruses and other airborne diseases by reminding people to wear masks in public areas and helping security personnel monitor compliance.
