This repository contains a proof of concept implementation of an OpenID Connect authentication flow in an ASP.NET application. It demonstrates how to use the OpenID Connect protocol to authenticate users against an identity provider such as Google, Microsoft, or Okta. The code is written in C# and uses the ASP.NET framework.
Fully functional App that demonstrate the various flows in OpenId. It uses Duende's Identity Server as the IDP. You'll also see a React app which uses the Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern to communicate with the API along with a a pure JavaScript client which again uses the BFF pattern to communicate with the API.
Command line tool that lets you authenticate via OAuth2. The authenticator will pop a window and allow the user to login. Access tokens are printed to STDOUT as JSON.
