This repo includes intial code for social media app. Its purpose is to be a starting point for Microverse students.
Social Media App developed in RubyOnRails where a user can sign up, make a post, comment, and like on friend's posts. It uses embedded ruby for templating. We also used omniauth to sign-up/sign-in with a twitter account.
In this app, the user can invite another user to be a friend, accept another user's friend request, write posts and share with friends, comment on a post, and like a post or a comment.
This is a social-media where the user can share the species sightings with other users, follow other users, and track his activity daily and weekly.
Forked this repo to implement a couple of features such as like or dislike a post, send friend requests, and being able to accept those requests. We accomplished that by modifying the models and creating new tables into the PostgreSQL database.
