vim-rails commands not recognised by vim

I followed this guide to install vim-rails. However when I am in controller/ and editing application_controller.rb, I pressed esc key and typed :Rserver and vim returned me Not an editor command Rserver. What is it that I am doing wrong?

Does the :Rails command exist? Does your app have both app/ and config/environment.rb?

Not sure if this helps, but I only experience this issue when pulling up a new tab in vim.

edit - If I open any file in the project within the new tab, vim will recognize the command again. I guess it's just not recognized in a new blank buffer.

I know this issue is closed, but @anhari 's solution doesn't actually seem to be the same as that of @AbhimanyuAryan .
I came here after following the same tutorial and having the same issue. I've found that the commands mentioned there like :Rmodel don't seem to work, but the ones prefixed with an 'E' (:Emodel) do. Is this just outdated info from that article? AFAICT from running help :Rails it looks as if this should be aliased:
rails-:Emodel rails-:Rmodel :Emodel [{name}] Edit the specified or current model.

Although I am a vim noob so it's possible I'm mis-reading this?

The tutorial is indeed very old. In 2013 I introduced :Emodel to replace :Rmodel. I formally deprecated :Rmodel in 2015 by adding a warning message, and removed it in 2018.
