• Usage analytics are part of the free product and can no longer be turned off from the account. The CLI no longer stores or honors the local mcpAnalyticsOptOut marker: an existing marker is ignored when config is read and dropped the next time config is saved, so installs that were opted out resume anonymous MCP lifecycle analytics. Logout and credential removal clear credentials exactly as before but no longer contact the analytics-preference endpoint or treat an unreachable server as an opt-out. What is captured, the content-free projection and the backend relay are unchanged.

Maintenance

• Recapture the checked-in hosted MCP contract fixture and lock resume security sources against close-ai 6be6d4d21, including the readinessMissingProfileKey collection labels from close-ai #3158. Release-gate documentation now cites that recapture. No shipped tool or schema changes.
