Project Bright v0.1.0-beta.1

You've seen OpenMontage. Now try Project Bright.

Project Bright is an open-source agentic video production studio operated through Claude Code.

Describe the video you want and Project Bright gives Claude the production environment to build it in React + Remotion — editing footage, creating animation and motion graphics, handling typography, graphics, audio and timing, rendering the result and iterating with you.

The production remains editable code.

Try it

git clone https://github.com/tradewithmeai/project-bright.git
cd project-bright/apps/claude-remotion
npm install
npm run hello

Then open Claude Code at the repository root and ask Project Bright to make a video in plain language.

Requirements

This beta has been tested on:

  • Windows 11
  • Node 22
  • Claude Code

No API key is required to run the installation proof.

Paid-service keys are only needed when a production actually uses those services.

Beta status

This is the first public beta.

The video-production system is working and tested, but this is not being presented as a finished commercial desktop application. Expect the project to evolve rapidly as it is used in more production work.

Planned future work is documented in the repository and includes broader animation, Blender and Unity bridges, image-to-3D, rigging, motion-data workflows and motion capture.
