Release list
v4.38
Site release 4.38 (October 28, 2026). This is the first archived release since V4.1 (September 26). It covers site versions 4.2 through 4.37; each version's details are in [CHANGELOG.md] (https://github.com/travisvought-byte/ohio-cannabis-directory/blob/v4.37/CHANGELOG.md).
Dataset at this release: 564 retained identities: 515 public organizations, 48 reference records and one withdrawal (PreventionFIRST!, at its request). Records are never silently deleted.
Directory and evidence
Reconciled OCHBS 2026 contact and exhibitor evidence, owner email replies and a regulator map snapshot (230 locations, with the one-record gap against DCC counts left explicitly unreconciled).
Added permanent record IDs, an explicit Last Reviewed field and shareable search/filter links. Restored 485 historical review dates; records without dated evidence are listed rather than given new dates.
Split reviews into 90-day full reviews (Ohio operators, labs, Ohio-based providers) and 180-day routine checks (national and multistate vendors), with a reproducible P1/P2 review queue.
Added operator-published store menus and phones, provider service and contact reviews, and a published view of 60 documented business-to-business relationships.
Consumer tools
New task-focused homepage, a first-time buyer guide with a private shopping plan and PDF, a supply calculator, and a business self-assessment.
A six-step Ohio record-clearing (expungement and sealing) guide with court-search links, filing help and a printable checklist.
An upcoming-events panel; dated events age out automatically.
Advocacy and comparison
An Ohio advocacy page with a full legislative roster (132 districts), all nine SB 56 roll calls, and a private letter builder written in the visitor's own voice.
A state-law comparison with citations and dates, plus market lessons from other states. No position is taken on which approach is better.
Process
An AI working agreement (issue ownership, evidence standard, owner-merged pull requests), CI pinned to Ubuntu 24.04, and a manually run release workflow that proposes a PR and never merges.
Limits
These are source-linked listings, not endorsements. They don't verify live license status, inventory or prices. Each record carries its own review date and limitations.
