Participants use knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, algorithm design, problem-solving principles, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork to design, implement, test, and document a software development project of educational or social value.

Competition dates for regionals are currently unknown. The Texas TSA State Conference is from April 21st to April 23rd 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. The National TSA Conference is from June 26th to June 30th 2022 at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center Dallas, Texas.
