Permission bypass and folder trust are now opt-in.

  • Interactive auto-approve is now off unless explicitly enabled by a CLI flag,
recognized environment value, or saved boolean preference. Missing, corrupt,
or invalid settings keep native client approval behavior. Existing saved
booleans remain in effect, including true persisted by an older release.
  • --no-auto-approve wins conflicting Leg switches. Environment opt-out wins
conflicting environment settings. Native permission modes are preserved.
  • Automatic folder-trust writes now require LEG_TRUST=auto (or the legacy
alias). This separate opt-in can write client configs and approve external
Claude imports. Disabling it leaves existing trust records in place.
  • Corrected CLI help, package, README and site claims about permission defaults
and client config writes. Added launch and settings regressions using stubs.
