This release grades a measured spectral power distribution at the Full conformance level for white-light records and names the spectrum on the non-gating enrichment roadmap. The schema, taxonomy, workbook template and converter do not change. No required set or achievement state changes. The builder moves to 0.9.0 because index.conformance_level now reads the spectrum block.

For consumers

A white-light record (color_tunability static_white, tunable_white or dim_to_warm) reaches full only when colorimetry.spectral_power_distribution holds at least two numeric sampled values at a positive wavelength step, a source_kind of laboratory_table or exchange_file, measured_through_optics true, and a value_type of measured or rated. A digitized chart, an LED-package curve or a nominal spectrum does not satisfy the row. A spectrometer export the manufacturer measured through the luminaire's optics does, entered as rated, and its value type stays rated. Core and Standard are unchanged, and colour-mixing records are not asked for a spectrum.

Newly converted records default to 1.15.0. Builder 0.9.0 identifies the new logic, so every stored record must re-stamp its index with ulc build-index; until it does, ulc validate and ulc build-index --check report an index drift on builder_version. A white-light record that graded full under 0.8.0 without a qualifying spectrum grades standard under 0.9.0 with one open Full item naming the spectrum; every other record keeps its level and every other generated value. None of the eight published examples grades full or carries a spectrum, so their grades are unchanged and each re-stamps only builder_version. The scope manifest of a white-light record gains one full item of kind requirement; scope_version stays 1.0.0 because the item is a member of the existing items array, not a new field, kind or array.

Grading

  • New Full row for white-light records: measured spectral power distribution as data (through the optics; table or exchange file), source document test_report, standard LM-79 / TM-27. It applies with the TM-30 rows (isWhiteLightPrimary) and reads only the spectrum block.
  • New non-gating enrichment row at /colorimetry/spectral_power_distribution with the same test, so every white-light record at core or above and below Full without a qualifying spectrum sees the spectrum once on its enrichment roadmap beside the Full gap.

Documentation

  • The methodology's Full table, grade sentence, enrichment list and predicate table name the row; the validator and examples READMEs and the authoring patterns name it; the workbook guide's spectrum sheet names the cells the Full row reads; the roadmap records the delivered row and retires its deferred entry.
