Added
- In-memory TLS credentials (#366). Python accepts
str | bytes, Node accepts paths orBuffer/Uint8Array, and Rust usesTlsMaterial::Path/Blob. Matching DER PKCS#12/PKCS#7 blob pairs go directly to the SDK without temporary files; immutable storage is shared across session configuration clones. Passwords and blobs are redacted, SDK lengths are checked, and Node snapshots mutable bytes before async startup while rejecting shared/detached backing. - Bloomberg support RequestIds (#365). Results retain the SDK-assigned ID separately from xbbg labels and correlation IDs. Native tables, Arrow/pandas, Node Arrow/JSON, streams, shards, and derived recipe compositions preserve singular or sorted unique plural IDs; request/timeout exceptions and composed recipe failures retain available SDK context without changing error precedence.
Changed
- BREAKING (Rust): TLS configuration fields use
TlsMaterialrather thanString.BlpError::RequestFailureincludes SDK-ID context,BlpError::RequestTimeoutdistinguishes sent-request timeouts from lifecycle timeouts, andRecipeErrorcan carry contributor context without changing its source classification.
Fixed
- Public Python exception boundaries preserve SDK context. Native recipe and delayed-status failures normalize to their public exception classes; timeout exceptions keep their existing native identity and catchability.
- Streaming and sharding avoid redundant schema reconstruction. Non-UTC streams reuse the final timezone-adjusted, ID-bearing schema when chunk metadata matches, and same-field shards do not rebuild batches merely because their request IDs differ.
