V2Mac 0.5.7
What's changed
- Connect, disconnect and switch modes from Shortcuts and Spotlight
- Give any of these actions a keyboard shortcut in the Shortcuts app to use it from anywhere
- Add servers from links, files and QR code pictures
- Clicking a vless://, vmess://, trojan://, ss:// or hy2:// link anywhere opens it in V2Mac
- Providers' "add to app" buttons can use v2mac://install-config?url=…
- Paste a screenshot of a QR code with ⌘V, or drop config files and QR pictures on the window
- Show the upload and download speed in the menu bar
- Turn it on in Settings → Connection → Speed in the menu bar
- Send every DNS lookup through the tunnel in TUN mode
- DNS lookups no longer go straight to the network while TUN mode is on; they go through the server
- Lookups sent to the router or any other resolver are answered through the tunnel too
- The Mac's DNS servers point into the tunnel only while it is up, and are put back afterwards
- Switching servers with TUN mode on now restarts the connection
- Scripts/check-tun.sh checks a running tunnel for anything that leaks past it
- Add a Rule Builder for custom routing rules, with a world map
- Pick countries from a searchable list or by clicking them on a map
- Pick services like Telegram, YouTube, AI services or ads from tiles, or search every geosite and geoip list
- Start from common setups such as "Block ads and trackers" or keeping your own country direct
- Review the rules before adding them, with ones already in the list marked
- Plain words are no longer read as domain names in custom rules
- Add custom routing rules next to the region bypass
- Write your own Proxy, Direct and Block lists in Settings → Routing
- Accepts domains, IP ranges, geosite/geoip tags, Xray prefixes, Clash rules, hosts and Adblock lists
- Lines that are not a rule are listed under the editor and skipped
- Download subscriptions and region packs much faster
- Refuse a redirect from https to plain http when fetching
- Read the core version without blocking a thread
