What's new in 1.8.8

• Prime Time (Foundation Prime): the purple brick sea is drawn again. Most of it was missing, so the opening cutscene showed only the sky around the characters.
• Midway Arcade: textures the game keeps rewriting are now checked every frame even when they are not linear, for the doubled picture on Spy Hunter, Rampage and Super Sprint. The log now names every texture the game rewrites, so a new log will show it if the screens still look doubled.
• Fewer hitches when a scene needs a shader that is not in the prepared pack: the shader compiler now stays open instead of starting for each one.
• Mods: a character mod that brings its own figure (such as connorh315's Lord Vortech) is used as it is. Text files that several mods change are merged, so one mod no longer hides another's abilities.
• Launcher, Files tab: a "Saves" choice to play with another saves folder in assets (for example a 100% save converted with LD PC Transfer). Your own saves are not touched.

1. In-Game Video Settings Menu (F2 / L3 + R3):

   • Access graphic options directly in-game by pressing F2 on the keyboard or clicking L3 + R3 (both sticks) on the controller.

• Extract PKG... (new button at the top of the launcher): pick the game, update and DLC .pkg files (several at once) and a folder. The game goes to <folder>\CUSA01176, the update to <folder>\CUSA01176-patch and the DLCs to <folder>\addcont\CUSA01176 (or to the DLC folder you already chose), and the launcher fields are filled in for you. Then click Prepare as usual. The .pkg files are not deleted; you need as much free space as their size.
• The extraction is the one from shadPS4 0.7.0 (credited in THIRD_PARTY.md), with the zlib inflate from miniz.
• More pipelines learned in play are prepared ahead of time, so fewer short hitches the first time you visit an area.

LEGO Dimensions PC 1.7.1

LEGO Dimensions PC is an unofficial native port of the PS4 LEGO Dimensions to Windows.

Nothing from the game is included. You need your own dump of the PS4 LEGO Dimensions (CUSA01176, version 01.24).

What's new in 1.7.1

• Mods > Install now accepts the Lord Vortech figure. Before this fix, the Install button rejected his .zip as "a figure dump, not a mod". The figure then never got enabled, so placing him from the LegoToypad app only opened an empty vortex. Now his dump is installed into the mods folder, and the port enables him the next time you click PLAY. Dumps of regular figures are still refused, because those only go in the portal app.
• If you already hit this on 1.7 or older, you can also fix it by hand: open Mods > Open folder and extract the zip there, so you get mods\lord_vortech\Lord Vortech\Lord Vortech.bin. Then click PLAY, and load him in the LegoToypad app from the Special world (Special\Lord Vortech\Lord Vortech.bin next to the app).

If you have 1.3 or newer, click Check updates in the launcher. From 1.2 or older, install this version by hand once.
