What's new

Language anchor — no more wrong-language replies

Models occasionally drifted to the wrong language (e.g. Spanish replies in pt-BR sessions) because no language directive existed unless you set settings.language.

  • Every system prompt now instructs the model to respond in the same language as your most recent message — including CLAUDE_CODE_SIMPLE mode.
  • The explicit settings.language override still works for a fixed language; the picker hint now reads "Leave empty to respond in the user's language".
  • Locale-agnostic by design: works for any language, no hardcoded locale.
