Fixes

  • Fix Linux Secret Service/KWallet authentication corruption caused by the 8 KiB secret-size limit.
  • Compress the shared secure-storage payload and keep compatibility with legacy plain JSON records.
  • Reject oversized secure-storage writes instead of silently persisting truncated data.
  • Recover malformed native storage after a successful OAuth login.

Validation

  • Full CLI quality gate passed across Linux, macOS, and Windows with Node 22 and 24.
  • 339/339 isolated test files passed.
  • Terminal/PTY matrix and desktop artifacts passed.
  • Package tarball checksum verified.

This release addresses the Secret service returned malformed JSON. login failure on affected Linux/KWallet installations.
