Does this mean the current vertica-python versions released are not compatible with vertica server 12.0.3 and 12.0.4 and we should avoid upgrading the server until it's fixed? Can you add VER-xxx to watch for in 12.0.4-x?

@alippai This is VER-86494. There are issues with the server (probably since 12.0.3), which is under investigation. I would suggest not upgrade the server and wait until it's fixed. Otherwise, set use_prepared_statements to True might avoid this issue.

Is VER‑86721 related? I see 12.0.4-3 released

@alippai Yes it is. 12.0.4-3 has the full fix.
