TuxShell 1.5.2
What's new
- KeePassXC: a host can take its password from KeePassXC. Turn on KeePassXC's browser integration (Settings → Browser Integration; no browser needed), press Connect to KeePassXC in Preferences → Security, then Use KeePassXC for this host in the host's settings. The host keeps only a reference like
keepassxc:ssh://root@db01; the password is read from the open KeePassXC when you connect, and KeePassXC asks before giving it. TuxShell never sees your database or its master password. Remote desktops in their own window use it too. - ssh in a local shell: when you type
sshin a local shell tab, the file panel now says so and offers Open as a TuxShell connection or Add as host…, instead of showing this computer's files and typing local folders into the remote shell with cd here.
