• Update Diffdesk from the app: a bottom banner offers new stable releases without interrupting the review. Choose Later to keep working, or Update…, then Update and Restart, to install through Homebrew or mise and reopen the active comparison. Diffdesk → Check for Updates… checks on demand; progress and retryable errors stay in the banner. Save drafts before restarting. (#276)
• Read the proposed release’s changelog under What’s new in… before confirming an update, with headings, lists, code and links. The notes and update status stay available after reloading the review. (#276)
