Added end-to-end OpenTelemetry observability for CLI commands and model, agent, dataset, training, image, video, and streaming workflows, with Volc telemetry enabled by default.
Added a persistent observability.enabled setting and surfaced trace IDs in structured errors and terminal diagnostics to make support and incident correlation easier.
Extended instrumentation across API calls, downloads, update checks, authentication, and long-running workflows while keeping telemetry fail-open and bounded.
Reliability and workflow
Suppressed telemetry in CI and postinstall contexts, applied sampling and content-safety controls, and bounded concurrent flushing so observability cannot block normal CLI execution.
Improved async workflow error classification, downloader and updater behavior, atomic configuration writes, and Windows file-handling and read-timeout paths.
Expanded coverage for command lifecycle hooks, API errors, streaming and generated-content workflows, config persistence, downloads, and Windows-specific behavior.
Distribution
Published @volcengine/ark-cli@1.0.26 with binaries for the six supported desktop and server targets.
Revalidated the resolved Volc Skills tree and CN CDN manifest against the immutable v1.0.26 source before GitHub fallback publication.
Compatibility
No breaking CLI flag, structured-output field, wire JSON schema, or public exported-symbol changes.
Observability failures do not fail commands, and explicit configuration can disable collection.
GitHub remains a fallback; the Volcengine CDN remains the primary binary and Skills source.
