• Detached children start private POSIX process groups; ordinary descendants inherit them, and negative-PID liveness and signals resolve every live member across worker realms, including after the leader exits. Older embedding hosts retain their existing PID operations. World teardown previously saw a live group while its SIGTERM and SIGKILL deliveries were refused.
