v1.3.0 — A skill that weaker models follow

@vovandel155-tech vovandel155-tech released this 01 Nov 12:06

Rebuilt by Anthropic's skill authoring best practices after test runs with Claude Haiku.

  • SKILL.md is a short workflow checklist the model copies and ticks, with MUST rules; details live in reference/*.md.
  • check.py: every file gets READY / NOT READY before it is given away — overlaps, analysis variables that name
    missing nets or sources, dB of dB on AC graphs, markup left as text in descriptions, the default 5 V supply.
  • Missing parts: get_parts.bat is offered first; order.py packs it in one command.
  • Expected values come only from ngspice on the built file (spice.run).
  • Cyrillic circuit parameters and Grapher titles; everything the user reads is in their language.
  • evals/: test scenarios from real failures of a weaker model.
  • Skill version 13: claude.ai copies update themselves; a newer zip is never rolled back.

v1.2.0: Skill v9: expected values from the built file, supply in the report

@vovandel155-tech vovandel155-tech released this 31 Oct 23:30

The skill now writes the circuit description (Description Box) too.

  • Simple markup → Multisim's own rich text: headings, paragraphs, bold/italic, sub/superscripts,
    bullet lists, tables, PNG/JPEG pictures with captions (Times New Roman 14, coursework style).

  • analyses.markup() drafts a section about the Batched list: every analysis with its settings and variables.

  • describe.rewrite(..., append=True) adds to the description of an existing circuit, keeping its text and pictures.

  • Before inserting pictures Claude asks: graphs computed in ngspice, or your own Multisim screenshots.

  • Skill version 8: claude.ai copies update themselves.

v1.1.0 — Analyses (Batched)

@vovandel155-tech vovandel155-tech released this 31 Oct 22:10

The skill now sets up Multisim analyses, not only circuits.

  • A Batched list written into the .ms14: DC operating point, single-frequency AC, AC sweep,
    transient, Fourier/THD, noise (total and spectral density), parameter sweep over circuit parameters.
    Open the file, press Run — one Grapher page per analysis.
  • Circuit parameters (Tools → Circuit parameters) and parts that use them.
  • analyses.rewrite() replaces the Batched list of an existing circuit without touching it.
  • Gallery: batched_op, batched_phasor, batched_all — results match ngspice to 4–5 digits.
  • Skill version 7: claude.ai copies update themselves.

Multisim Scheme 1.0.0 — first public release

a99e25a

The first public release of the multisim-scheme skill (skill version 6).

Download multisim-scheme.zip below and upload it in claude.ai → Settings → Capabilities → Skills.
With network access to raw.githubusercontent.com the skill keeps itself up to date.

What's inside:

  • native .ms14 output that opens in Multisim 14 without dialogs and simulates right away
  • a catalog of ~250 real Multisim parts and instruments; missing parts via get_parts.bat and the Multisim COM API
  • probes, Schottky and multi-emitter subcircuits, MOSFETs with a substrate pin
  • a library of 10 ready blocks (CMOS gates, input protection, transistor switch, push-pull, RC filters, LED)
  • layout lint and an ngspice check of every build
  • a gallery of 26 circuits verified in Multisim 14.3
