OYYO NotzUP 1.0.27.0 — Universal macOS Offline Test Build

Choose a tag to compare

OYYO NotzUP universal macOS offline test build — package revision 1.0.27.0, app version 1.0.27.

  • Includes arm64 (Apple Silicon) and x86_64 (Intel) binaries; requires macOS 11 or later. Physical runtime checks were performed on Apple Silicon/macOS 27.0.1. Intel and minimum-OS execution have not been verified.
  • The native application and interface install offline. Speech/AI model weights are separate: install the verified model pack before expecting offline transcription. Account services require Internet; no cloud AI fallback is used.
  • AD-HOC SIGNED. NOT Developer ID signed. NOT notarized. The signature checks file integrity but does not authenticate an Apple-verified publisher. Gatekeeper manual approval may be required. Follow the README's per-app instructions only if you trust this build and its checksum; do not disable Gatekeeper globally.
  • Cold launch, automatic loading of the existing local library, and microphone device discovery passed. The CoreAudio discovery timeout was corrected.
  • Physical microphone recording was not completed because microphone permission was not granted. Recording and audio quality are not certified by this release.
  • No App Store or TestFlight submission was changed by this prerelease publication.

Download the DMG, SHA256SUMS, and README.txt together. Before opening the DMG, run:

shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS

Expected DMG: OYYO-NotzUP-1.0.27.0-macOS-universal-offline.dmg
Size: 18,827,697 bytes
SHA-256: eff66f53e3aead572ef1ce31900425ce79536330514543050dec9d2b36162117

This is the exact previously verified artifact; it has not been rebuilt or re-signed for publication. The attached and in-image README retains its original pre-publication “private/not published” wording; that wording records the packaging status and is superseded by this clearly labeled public prerelease. All signing and testing limitations in that README still apply.

Choose a tag to compare

@vpicciuolo vpicciuolo released this 23 Oct 05:16

OYYO AI NotzUP is more than an audio recorder. It is the private capture and knowledge workspace in OYYO ONE AI, powered by the Local OYYO AI Core — running privately on your device.

What this Windows build can do

Depending on Windows permissions, source applications, hardware and installed local models, OYYO AI NotzUP can:

  • capture microphone audio, eligible Windows system audio, and permitted screen or window sessions;
  • save screenshots and import supported documents, PDFs, Office and OpenDocument files, images, music, audio, video, text and links;
  • transcribe speech locally, draft lyrics or spoken words, and analyze music and sound using grounded audio facts;
  • extract text with OCR and create visual descriptions with a compatible local vision pack;
  • search captured sources and create reviewable summaries, explanations, action items, Markdown and JSON;
  • translate supported outputs offline with installed language packs; and
  • access the private Library, calendar and bookings, connectors, notifications and 41 application locales where configured.

Local originals stay on the device unless the user explicitly chooses an online, connected, export or sharing feature. Feature availability depends on Windows, hardware, permissions, source applications and installed models.

Recommended trusted installation

Install the Microsoft-signed Store package: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9NX0604FJ0XN

Or use Windows Package Manager:

winget install 9NX0604FJ0XN --source msstore --accept-package-agreements --accept-source-agreements

Direct downloads

  • OYYO-NotzUP-1.0.0-Windows-x64-Setup.exe — normal guided installer; includes the required WebView2 runtime for offline installation.
  • OYYO-NotzUP-1.0.0-Windows-x64.msi — alternative package for traditional or managed deployment.
  • SHA256SUMS-windows.txt — SHA-256 checksums for both installers.

Important signature notice

These direct EXE/MSI files are not Authenticode-signed. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen can show an unknown-publisher warning. They do not display HRN INNOVATION TECHNOLOGIES LTD as a verified publisher. Use the Microsoft Store route if you require a Microsoft-signed installation without this warning.

If you choose the direct installer:

  1. Download it only from this tagged GitHub Release.
  2. Compare its SHA-256 hash with SHA256SUMS-windows.txt.
  3. If SmartScreen appears, select More info.
  4. Confirm the app name and choose Run anyway only if you accept the unsigned-install risk.

Compatibility

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • x64 processor
  • Version 1.0.0

Record, analyze or share content only when you have permission.

@vpicciuolo vpicciuolo released this 23 Oct 04:36
27c286b

OYYO AI NotzUP 1.0.0 for Linux

OYYO AI NotzUP is the private capture and knowledge workspace in OYYO ONE AI, powered by the Local OYYO AI Core — running privately on your device. This preview includes the x86-64 desktop application and local command-line interface.

What this Linux build can do

Depending on the desktop session, hardware, permissions and installed local models, the graphical app can capture permitted screen sessions, microphone or routed system audio, camera input and screenshots; import documents, images, music, audio, video, text and links; run local transcription, OCR, visual descriptions, music and sound analysis, search, summaries, action items and offline translation; and access the Library, calendar and bookings, connectors, notifications and multilingual interface where configured.

The CLI supports private transcription, OCR, search, summaries, translation and automation workflows for supported local inputs and installed packs. Local originals stay on the device unless the user explicitly chooses an online, connected, export or sharing feature.

Packages

  • AppImage: portable graphical application.
  • DEB: graphical application plus oyyo-notzup-cli for Ubuntu and Debian.
  • RPM: graphical application plus oyyo-notzup-cli for Fedora-family systems.
  • Snap: strict-confined graphical application plus oyyo-notzup.cli.
  • CLI archive: standalone command-line binary and notices.

Validation and security

The packages passed Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12 and Fedora 44 virtual-machine and container tests. The AppImage, installed DEB and strict Snap GUIs were rendered and visually inspected. The CLI was executed from every applicable package.

These direct files are not distribution-store or code signed. Verify downloads with SHA256SUMS-linux.txt. Physical Linux testing for microphone, system audio, camera, screen capture, Wayland/X11 and desktop portals remains pending.

Linux screen and system-audio availability depends on the desktop session, PipeWire/PulseAudio routing, permissions and source application. OYYO AI NotzUP does not bypass operating-system or participant-consent controls. Record, analyze or share content only when you have permission.

OYYO NotzUP macOS 0.1.0-alpha.1 — Test Build

Choose a tag to compare

@vpicciuolo vpicciuolo released this 23 Oct 05:15

First public macOS functional-test build

OYYO AI NotzUP is the private capture and knowledge workspace in OYYO ONE AI, powered by the Local OYYO AI Core — running privately on your device. This pre-release provides a universal DMG for Intel and Apple silicon Macs running macOS 10.15 or later.

What this macOS test build can do

Depending on macOS permissions, source applications, hardware and installed local models, the shared desktop workflow can capture microphone audio and permitted screen sessions; save screenshots; import supported documents, images, music, audio, video, text and links; run local transcription, OCR, visual descriptions, music and sound analysis, search, summaries, action items and offline translation; and access the private Library, calendar and bookings, connectors, notifications and multilingual interface where configured.

Local originals stay on the device unless the user explicitly chooses an online, connected, export or sharing feature. Protected media and source-application-restricted audio or video may be unavailable.

Important security status

  • Ad-hoc signed test application
  • Not signed with an Apple Developer ID
  • Not notarized by Apple
  • Not a Mac App Store build
  • Gatekeeper is expected to require explicit manual approval

Use this build only for informed functional testing. Back up important work and do not use it as the only copy of a recording.

Download and verify

Download both the DMG and SHA256SUMS-macos.txt, then run:

cd ~/Downloads
shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS-macos.txt

Expected SHA-256:

1cfb137867c6c452df3f8461e3c6d5ce90c1dc6bd4d852095021d564b905d8eb  OYYO-NotzUP-0.1.0-alpha.1-macOS-universal-test.dmg

Install and run

  1. Double-click the verified DMG.
  2. Drag OYYO NotzUP to Applications.
  3. Eject the disk image and try to open the installed application once.
  4. If Gatekeeper blocks it, verify the checksum and this release URL again, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
  5. Grant microphone or screen/system-audio access only for capture modes you choose.

Read the complete macOS installation and first-run guide before overriding Gatekeeper.

Build verification

The macOS CI run completed the shared frontend build, Rust lint/tests, universal application compilation, ad-hoc signing and strict signature verification, DMG creation and verification, read-only mounting, mounted executable checks and a launch smoke test.

Physical Intel and Apple silicon permission/capture QA is still required. Record, analyze or share content only when you have permission.

Report non-sensitive defects through GitHub Issues. Never attach recordings, transcripts, credentials or personal data to a public issue.
