Company and personal sessions run on Pi 1.3.0 (from 0.87.1).

Changes

  • Pi host 1.3.0. piagent-setup and piagent-update install Pi Coding Agent 1.3.0. What it brings to Piagent: a tool call whose arguments are malformed JSON is refused and shown to the model instead of running with the fields parsed before the error; gateway errors such as "Unable to forward upstream stream" are retried; internal Pi packages are pinned to exact versions; a resumed session keeps its active tools; switching model drops the previous model's thinking; the terminal reports its state with OSC 7501 (working, waiting for a dialog or sign-in, done, error).
  • Your personal pi command is also 1.3.0 after the update. Pi 1.2.0 changed theme $schema references and models.json overrides of the kimi-coding base URL must end in /v1.
  • After the update, Agent Watch writes a new binding by itself while it runs; piagent studio waits for it.
  • GPT-6.1 Sol keeps its reviewed 272k window in company sessions (Pi 1.3.0's catalog says 500k, which Codex prices at twice the rate above 272k).
  • The three brace-expansion advisories accepted until 2026-10-31 are gone: Pi 1.3.0 installs brace-expansion 5.0.12.

Fixes

  • Pi 1.2+ calls before_agent_start also for a run that a custom message starts (no prompt). Piagent's personal runtime now gives such a run the same system prompt and starts no turn, task or context pack for it.

Tests

  • tests/runtime-session-modules.test.mjs: a custom-message run records no turn, opens no index and creates no task (fails without the fix).
  • tests/managed-failures.test.mjs: Sol keeps 272k on a host whose catalog says 500k.
  • tests/runtime-advisories.test.mjs checks the exception rules on a fixture list.
