How to Reference in code - <l-control-layers>

I want to add overlays on the fly to the layers control, but I cannot find a way to reference it in code. I am using VueJS 2 anyway to point me in the right direction. I want to use GeoJson data from an ArcGIS URL (it returns raw geojson) and I want to add that as an overlay in the layers control. Any and all help would be aprpeciated.

Hi, @Steve-Groner . First off, if you are using Vue 2 then you'll want to be using Vue2Leaflet isntead; this project is our update for working with Vue 3.

To answer your question specifically, you can add a ref to the layers control in your template, and then any time after the map's @ready event has fired you can access the mapObject property of the ref (or leafletObject if you are working with the Vue 3 version) to get at the underlying Leaflet Control.Layers object.

That said, I don't think there should be a need for you to reference the layers control in code for this particular use case. If you add <l-geo-json :layer-type="overlay" :name="layerName"/> components to your map, then they will be automatically included in the layers control.
