It seems that as long as both files have different names or they have the same name (e.g. TypeTest.vue with TypeTest.ts or typeTest.vue with typeTest.ts). However, you cannot have one upper case and the other lower case. This is what GPT 4o says about this issue.

The issue you're encountering is likely due to case sensitivity in file paths. 
On Windows, the file system is case-insensitive, 
but TypeScript and some build tools can be case-sensitive. 
This can cause inconsistencies and errors if the case of the file paths does not match exactly.
