Patch Changes

  • #1052 8a29058 Thanks @johnleider! - fix(AlertDialog): clear the cancel element before the dialog unmounts

  • #1053 70103dd Thanks @johnleider! - fix(createFilter): a plain list filters with less repeated work per search

The default matcher prepares the query once per pass. Which edits re-run the filter is unchanged. A deep ref still tracks every field, so a large list should be a shallowRef or a plain array.

  • #1043 2a6e016 Thanks @araishi! - fix: smaller Vite 8 bundles when only part of v0 is used (#1043)

A Vite 8 production build no longer pulls unused v0 contexts into the bundle. In an app that uses Vuetify's VSelect, VAutocomplete, VCombobox or VDataTable, this saves about 23 kB of gzipped JS on Vue 3.5 and about 73 kB on Vue 3.6, independent of app size.

  • #1026 c9e9fa4 Thanks @johnleider! - fix(useResizeObserver): entries always include borderBoxSize and contentBoxSize (#1026)

Browsers that omit them from native entries (Safari < 15.4, Chrome < 84) previously passed undefined through despite the types; they are now measured from the element's computed style.

  • #1026 c9e9fa4 Thanks @johnleider! - fix(createVirtual): reverse lists start at the bottom, and edge callbacks stop after unmount (#1026)

With direction: 'reverse', the list now opens scrolled to its last item in the browser instead of at the top, including when the first items load after mount or the scroll element is remounted. A scrollTo() made right after mount takes precedence over that initial pin. A scroll in flight when the list unmounts no longer calls onStartReached or onEndReached.
