There was some confusion about what these values were at the f2f today, and we were considering whether (or not) a new name would help clarify.

My two-cents proposal is

{
    inlineHundredPercents: <number>,
    blockHundredPercents: <number>
}

The Working Group just discussed Naming for percentageInlineSize / percentageBlockSize, and agreed to the following:

  • RESOLVED: No change
The full IRC log of that discussion <fantasai> Topic: Naming for percentageInlineSize / percentageBlockSize
<fantasai> github: https://github.com//issues/437
<fantasai> fantasai: could also do inlinePercentBasis / blockPercentBasis
<fantasai> iank_: This is what you resolve percentage sizes against
<fantasai> Rossen: “percentResolutionBasis” is kindof what this is about
<fantasai> Rossen: but that's kinda verbose
<fantasai> frremy: Issue was that there was some confusion, wanted to make it less confusing
<fantasai> iank_: It's easy to guess wht the other ames are, wanted t keep ths one consistent
<fantasai> iank_: e.g. availableInlineSize / availableBlockSize
<fantasai> Rossen: inlinePercentBase / blockPercentBase
<fantasai> Rossen: Let's close this no change
<fantasai> Rossen: get an option more people would be excited about
<fantasai> RESOLVED: No change
