Description
Both documents have terminology sections:
- Terminology is section 2 of the Verifiable Claims Data Model and Representations document.
- Terminology is section A of the Verifiable Claims Use Cases document.
This is great, but there is a slightly different set of terms in each document. Plus the definitions of some of the terms differ in length and detail (not necessarily meaning, although there are nuances).
For example:
- The Data Model document defines issuer as an entity that creates a verifiable claim, associates it with a particular subject, and transmits it to a holder.
- The Use Cases document defines issuer as an entity that creates a credential and associates it with a particular holder.
As a newbie, I may be missing something. Perhaps there are nuances due to context?
(And a small nit, the terms could be in alphabetical order.)
