[wg-charter] Coordination with W3C Groups and External Organizations #207
Comments
Should we pick a subset of high relation to stay focused? If so, my initial guess would be:
I am missing a WG that deals with APIs---where is Tobie Langel active, since he made good comments for the Scripting API? It would also be good to have a WG here that deals with the definition of Web browser APIs. For the external groups, I am not sure how to deal with the fact that there are some cooperations already in place where we should cross-check the specifications and that there might be more coming up. Do we label this as initial? I would also expect something concrete and not just a "yes we talked"...
BTW: What about alphabetical order in general (i.e., also in the IG re-charter) to avoid implicit prioritization? |
The list of groups is at: https://www.w3.org/Member/Mail As you can see there are multiple groups dealing with APIs. An example is the Device and Sensors WG |
Reopen this issue for additional groups to be added. |
As we discussed today (June 22) during the IG call, we should add related W3C Groups and External Organizations to the draft WG Charter. The lists in the IG Charter should be a good starting point.
