Display position keeps reseting on connection #2812

Hi I'm using BetterDisplay to help with scaling on my 32:9 monitor. I've got it setup as shown below.
I've got everything setup by mirroring a virtual display. The only issue I'm having is that when I connect my MacBook the virtual display moves to the right of the external monitor and needs to be realigned. Does anyone know a fix for this? For the last few month I've been using the built in Move Display button but I'm getting a little fed up doing this. |

I'll add layout protection in an upcoming version, hopefully that will fix the issue. Meanwhile you can use the app's CLI features to move displays around, it might be easier to simply create a small script in Shortcuts and assign it to a shortcut key so you can rearrange everything quickly whenever it's needed. https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/wiki/Integration-features,-CLI |
