Web 存储是一种 API，它提供了一种机制，通过该机制，浏览器可以在用户浏览器中本地存储键/值对，这种方式比使用 cookie 更直观。Web 存储提供了两种用于在客户端存储数据的机制。

本地存储：它存储当前来源的数据，没有过期日期。
会话存储：它存储一个会话的数据，当关闭浏览器选项卡时数据会丢失。
