Android 16: wgtunnel grab notification (KWGT Kustom Widget Maker)

I used Tasker or MacroDroit (Pixel 8, Android) to automate wgtunnel. This works perfectly.
I'm now trying to display the status on my Android screen. I'm using kwgt (Kustom) for this.

Unfortunately, I can't get a notification from wgtunnel in kwgt. The Output is empty. OpenVPN or other application works without any issues. I think this has to do with read permissions by other applicationen (on notification).

My workaround would be to set a variable when the trigger runs, but I find that a bit clunky.
