Changed — may break callers
files list reads a query time without a zone in this computer's zone: Google reads modifiedTime > '2026-09-01T09:00:00' as UTC, so drive now converts such a time (and a date alone, as the whole
local day) to UTC before it sends the query, and names the zone in meta.timezone. api call drive.files.list
and api drive-files-list do the same for q. A time that names its zone is sent as typed. What to watch for: a
script that typed UTC times without a zone gets other files on a computer outside UTC; add Z to keep UTC.
Fixed
Text output shows times in this computer's zone and says which: a stored UTC time such as modified_time
prints as local wall-clock time, followed by a times in <zone> line. JSON, JSONL and MCP output stay UTC.
facts add --occurred-time help says how a time without a zone is read: in this computer's zone, and a date
alone as its local midnight (cli-core 0.370.0 → 0.379.0, cli-base 0.47.0 → 0.48.0).
