Added

  • drive doctor: the state of this installation (version, Node, whether the settings file reads, the profiles
    here, the OAuth client, the store path, read-only and profile locks) without a profile, a login, the keyring or the
    database. A settings file that does not read is a field in the answer, not a failure.
  • drive upgrade installs a newer drive with the package manager that installed it; --check only looks. It is
    refused under DRIVE_READ_ONLY unless it only checks, and is not offered as an MCP tool.

Changed — may break callers

  • doctor and upgrade are commands, so they can no longer be profile names. drive doctor used to be read as
    a profile called "doctor". A profile already named doctor or upgrade is reached only through DRIVE_PROFILE.

Security

  • pnpm audit --prod is clean. The MCP server library is 2.3.0 (advisories on 2.0–2.2) and its zod 4.6.7
    (memory exhaustion on oversized input before 4.6.6).
