Security
doctor reports a config.json or config folder that other users of the computer can read. doctor --json gains files: { checked, ok, problems: [{ path, mode, want }] } (the file wants 0600, the folder 0700), the shape the other WireCat tools use, and stderr prints to make it private: chmod 600 '<path>' for each; nothing is changed on disk. drive 0.35 and older saved the file as 0644 on every config set; it is now saved 0600 (cli-base 0.57.0). Windows is not checked.
Changed — may break callers
A command that refuses the config file counts every problem doctor lists in its "(and N more problems)", saved permissions that name no command included. session list and a command run with no profile now refuse a file whose only problem is such a permission, as every other command already did.
skill show's effects say it reads local files (local: read): skill show --for claude|agents prints the copy installed for that agent. skill status and skill show --for come from cli-base 0.56.0.
cli-core 0.428.0 and cli-base 0.57.0.
Fixed
Every command starts faster: Google's client libraries load only when a command reaches Google. drive --version, --help, config show and runs list loaded about 1,380 module files; now about 1,180. src/startup.test.ts keeps them out of what the program imports at start.
