Changed — may break callers

  • cli-core 0.467.0 and cli-base 0.64.0. cli-core accepts only cli-base 0.64, so both pins move together.
  • Every search hit marks the text someone else wrote (cli-core 0.464.0). zm search all, search meetings and
a project's meeting evidence carry untrusted on each hit (["title", "excerpt"], a message or mail hit also
sender_name), so an agent reads that text as data. A caller that checks hits against an older, strict copy of
their shape refuses the new field.
  • The MCP server is now zm <profile> mcp serve; zm mcp only shows help (cli-core 0.463.0). Every WireCat
CLI now names its server the same way. Update MCP client entries from ["personal", "mcp"] to
["personal", "mcp", "serve"], and claude mcp add zm -- zm personal mcp serve. With no profile, zm mcp serve
serves every profile, as zm mcp did. The MCP Registry entry and the Docker image start zm mcp serve. Zoom has
no HTTP server, so it has no mcp revoke.
  • The shared store moves to version 35 (cli-core 0.463.0). The first zm command after the upgrade adds a
column for calendar series. Other WireCat CLIs that open the same store then need a version that speaks it; zm
says so once and names <cli> upgrade.
  • Every run is now kept, successes too (cli-core record-every-run). Before, only failed runs were kept unless
--record or record true. A successful run stays 7 days (keep_successful_runs_for_days), a failed one 30
(keep_runs_for_days), and the run log stays under runs_size_limit_mb (200 MB; the oldest successes go first).
record false now keeps failed runs (before: nothing); --no-record still keeps nothing. zm watch and zm mcp serve keep a success only under --record. A kept run holds the words you typed (a meeting id, a search), in a
local file only you can read; zm config set record_input failed keeps them only in a failed run, false masks
    them everywhere.
  • Re-run zm mcp add or zm mcp config after this upgrade, so your AI app starts zm mcp serve.
  • zm skill show, skill status and skill install answer --json as { item, meta } (cli-core 0.462.0).
What was the whole answer is now under item, like every other single-thing answer.
  • Over MCP, --resume/--no-resume is one boolean (cli-core 0.459.0). An agent sends resume: false;
no_resume is refused as an unknown argument.
  • zm search all reads calendar events too (cli-core 0.453.0, 0.460.0) when gcal stored them in the shared
store: hits of kind event with an event:<id> reference and untrusted: ["title", "excerpt"], --only events,
and events in searched. A store with no calendar answers as before.
  • A run says who asked for it (cli-core). run.json gains via (cli, mcp-stdio, mcp-http, desktop),
mcp (tool, request and connection ids) and agent.client (the AI app's name and version). A reader that checks
a run against an older copy of its shape refuses the new fields.

Added

  • Each Zoom request in a run says its attempt and the wait before a retry. A request line now carries the method,
the path with every id as :id, transport: "http", attempt (2 and up for a retry) and wait_ms, the
Retry-After or backoff waited first; a recording download tried again counts its attempts too. A refused answer
names Zoom's error code (zoom.429, zoom.3001), read from an error body of 4 KB at most, never its message. A
429 shows as an error answer, then the retry. Never the URL as sent, its query, or any other part of a body.
  • zm config set keep_successful_runs_for_days <days>, runs_size_limit_mb <MB> and record_input true|false|failed.
  • zm upgrade names the MCP sessions still on the old version (cli-core): after an install it lists this
install's zm mcp serve processes as stale_sessions and says to restart them from your AI app.
