• Fixed: the price beside an option ignored taxes. With prices entered excluding tax and shown including tax, an option labelled 10.00 added 12.30 at 23% VAT. Option prices are now shown the way the store displays prices, so the label matches what the cart adds.
• Changed: the live subtotal now also shows when taxes change displayed prices, in all four combinations of prices entered with or without tax and shown with or without tax. With one tax rate per product it matches the cart line to the cent. It stays hidden when the shop and the cart are set to display taxes differently.

• Fixed: a required checkbox option now shows the required marker like the other field types.

It adds the price of each chosen option to the product price, multiplies by the quantity, updates as options and quantity change and when a variation is chosen, and uses the store currency format. It is shown on simple and variable products when add-on prices are visible and taxes leave displayed prices unchanged; otherwise it stays hidden rather than show a figure the cart would not charge.

• A select choice must be one of the options defined for it and a checkbox must post its own value; anything else is refused at add to cart.
• The option definitions posted from the product editor are sanitised as soon as they are read, before any field is validated.
