Some feature suggestions: auto bulleted lists indenting, highlighting sentences, easier font changes, volume changes, focus cycle like WM2 #294

  1. Would be nice that if you are creating a bulleted list if you press tab immediately after creation (i.e. after the + or -), it creates an indented tab. This would make outlining much easier.
  2. if I use highlight current sentence, and a sentence is highlighted, if I Ctrl-x, then the whole paragraph is cut. I have to select the sentence manually to then cut it, but the UI provides no visual cues that my selection is different from the "highlight current sentence" selection.
  3. It would be nice if you could more easily change fonts. One suggestion would be to have a font list that you could add to in the setting file, and in the command palette you could cycle through and/or select fonts.
  4. I would like to be able to change volume for typing noises and for the white noises - this could be done in the settings file, or to cycle through 25%, 50%, etc... in the command palette.
  5. I think I prefer a focus cycle (on F6) more similar to Writemonkey 2 - where I can switch between section, paragraph and sentence focus more easily. It is a pain to have to move to the heading.

A list of valid suggestions. Thanks.

If a (custom) theme uses multiple fonts, what should happen when a font is selected from the palette?

I have an added suggestion related to #1. When I hit Enter at the end of a list item, WM automatically makes the next line a list item at the same indentation level as it should. However if I immediately press Tab (before typing anything), I expect the new indentation level to move in to the right. The fact that WM does not do this is distracting when jotting down ideas or preliminary outlines. Also if I immediately hit Delete or Shift-Tab after Enter, I'd like WM to out-dent the list item (move it one tab/list-level to the left).
I hope you will consider implementing this behavior.

It should do exactly that. It is a new feature from todays version. Tab after enter increases list indent. Shift+tab decreases. Does it not?

Ok. Installed beta 10 and it does work as you say. Also please, please move any user alterable files/directories outside the install directory (to \appdata\remote in windows) so the program can be upgraded without time consuming directory and file comparisons. For example keep the stock themes in the install directory but also check for themes in \appdata\remote\writemonkey\themes.
