PS2 to XBOX save converter

[YouCanDoWhatNow]

Hello, any chance for a PS2 to XBOX save converter tool?

Over the summer I played through most of the game and wanted to make the switch from PCSX2 to this.

Thanks for your work!

A PS2-to-Xbox save converter is not available at present. The existing Xbox save importer handles Xbox saves and re-signing; it cannot read a PCSX2 save directly.

What region is your PS2 copy, and what format is the exported save in? If you are comfortable sharing a sample save, it would help investigate the structures and progression mapping. Please keep the original backed up; I cannot promise conversion compatibility yet.

Thanks for the reply!

It's the US copy.
In PCSX2 you can have saves in 2 formats: 1st a digital memory card in a .ps2 format that holds all saves but can only be read by PCXS2 ( and maybe other software)
2nd a folder memory card where inside the folder each game save is its own folder. I don't the format of these files.

I cant send you my save, but I found this 100% save that is in the 2nd format (need to unrar the file, it's the "BASLUS-21050" folder).

This recompilation project of a PS2 game accepts natively accepts saves in the 2nd format and has an import (extractor) tool for the 1st format in the tools folder (check portable version).

I'll be playing in the Steam Deck, should you need any help, let me know!

I know my request is very niche, so don't sweat if you don't get around it.

Thanks for the sample—it helped confirm that conversion is possible, and I successfully loaded its PS2 progress in Takedawn. Support for importing US PS2 folder saves is coming in the next version.

No way! Awesome!

Once that build is released I'll let you know if it worked for my save.
