Changed: "Agent stationing" — AGENTS.md and .pi symlinks pointing back to the Anvil agent project (2026-10-17 rule)
Why: On 2026-10-17 the user revised the relationship between agents and sub-projects into an "Agent stationed in sub-project" network, superseding the 2026-10-12 rule that sub-projects must not carry agent-exclusive files: agent-exclusive files keep their single entity in the Agent project — sub-projects hold no entity and no copied content — and each sub-project root now carries two relative-path symlinks, so a session opened directly in the sub-project inherits the responsible agent's identity, rules, and skills. The links are committed with the repositories (the cross-repo relation is part of the team network).
What: Added two relative-path symlinks (committed): AGENTS.md → ../BackendEngineerAgent/AGENTS.md and .pi → ../BackendEngineerAgent/.pi. .claude/ is not linked and no longer maintained (per the 2026-10-17 decision; this repository's .claude/ had already been removed in 2.16.2 under the 2026-10-12 rule). No agent-exclusive file entities exist in the sub-project.
