This diagnostic Beta helps evaluate the existing candidate changes and collect evidence for issue #5. The intermittent selection problem is not confirmed fully resolved; the issue remains open. Stable remains 0.2.2.

• Adds operation correlation IDs, queued layout request/defer/run/cancel records, and state/error evidence around plugin window API calls.
• Rate-limits samples of actual selected/hovered tab drawing counts, DPI, window state and per-view state.
• Choose About & updates → Update channel → Stable / Beta. Stable is the default. The preference applies to manual and automatic checks. Changing channels does not downgrade; Beta numbers compare numerically, and the matching stable version supersedes its Beta.
• Fixes the management-center version label and footer interception of the channel selector at the minimum window size.
• Preserves bounded buffers, rotation, redacted exports, RSA signatures and SHA-256 checks. These records improve evidence; they cannot guarantee a root cause for every incident. Crashes, dropped buffers and concurrent external actions can leave gaps.

If the problem persists, use the bug template and include reproduction steps, Office version and architecture, file size and an exported redacted diagnostic report; add a video when useful. Do not attach sensitive original documents. Real 32-bit Office desktop tests run in VMware; Windows 11 LTSC 26100 / Microsoft 365 Apps 16.0.20527.20112 x86. 检查更新现在打开独立窗口，展示版本与更新说明；确认后下载并校验，Office 运行时等待退出再安装。直接显示保存文档和保留设置的提示。产品显示名统一为 openOfficeTab，窗口标题按页面及语言顺序更新。

修复更新窗口的确定与关闭行为，协调自动与手动检查，避免短暂的检查锁冲突；阻止后台分组布局覆盖用户刚选择的前台标签。修复 64 位管理中心漏判 32 位 Office 插件加载的情况；卸载前等待自有后台服务结束，避免清理缓存时文件占用。

The unified Windows x64 installer includes native x86 and x64 add-ins and selects the matching Office architecture. Installation, repair and diagnostics share architecture detection and inspect the correct COM registry view. Shared settings and signed updates are preserved. Both native builds have offline regression and DLL export/ABI checks. Word, Excel and PowerPoint have runtime regression evidence on the x64 host and x86 VM; see the validation record for scope.

32-bit Office is tested in a VMware VM running Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 26100 (64-bit) and 32-bit Microsoft 365 Apps 16.0.20527.20112. 64-bit Office is tested on the host. If a problem persists, follow the bug report template with reproduction steps, the Office version/architecture, an exported redacted diagnostic log, and a video when useful.

Check for updates now opens a separate window with the version and release notes. Updates are downloaded and verified after confirmation, then installed once Office exits. The save-work and settings-retention notice stays visible. The product display name is now openOfficeTab; window titles follow the active page and language in order.

Fixes confirmation and close actions in the update window, coordinates automatic and manual checks to avoid transient lock conflicts, and prevents background group layout from overriding an explicit foreground tab selection. Fixes 32-bit Office loading detection from the 64-bit center and waits for its own background service before uninstalling to avoid locked cache files.

Setup and the management center now support English and Simplified Chinese, sharing the native add-in's saved language preference. This covers static labels, runtime status, updates, errors, accessible names and preview samples. User document names, paths and content remain unchanged.

The language control now lives in the sidebar or setup content area. Long labels wrap, smaller windows have a responsive layout, and window controls and primary footer actions remain accessible. English README and installation instructions use the actual English control names.

This version retains the structured logs, signed updates and tab-selection improvements from 0.2.0. It introduces no new Office window-coordination algorithm. Existing intermittent issues remain open; if one recurs, export diagnostics and logs from the management center and attach them to the original issue.

Windows x64 EXE, ZIP, checksums and signed update metadata are identical on GitHub and CNB. See the validation record for the tested scope and remaining limits.

本机完成离线回归、安装载荷核对及实际 Office 验证；另生成 51/61 MiB Excel 和 29/44 MiB Word 合成样本供使用者试用。Excel 基本正常；Word 拖动卡顿在临时停用插件后仍存在，本次不将其判定为插件独有问题。没有宣称已复现或彻底排除原报告的全部触发条件。详见 验证记录。

This release adds a desktop management center, initial improvements to tab/native-document selection alignment, and bounded structured runtime logs. Related issues remain open for follow-up. Export a sanitized JSON report from the management center's diagnostics page when reporting a recurring problem. Document names, paths, content, cell values, accounts and tokens are excluded by default; nothing is uploaded automatically.

Update checks select available routes automatically and verify signed metadata and installer hashes. The release also restores the original compact typography/window sizing, aligns Ribbon icon layouts, and fixes silent installation when launched through PowerShell 7.

Windows x64 and 64-bit desktop Office are required. Save and close Office before installing. Settings are preserved. Local validation does not establish complete coverage of every Office build or intermittent trigger.

Fixes selecting cells from other workbooks while entering an Excel formula through the tab bar (#2).

• Preserve Excel's native formula-entry and reference-selection state when switching tabs.
• Avoid taking mouse capture or running ordinary COM activation / window coordination during editing; resume normal updates after Enter or Escape.
• Verify the generated external references and calculated values using real input, including the reported three-workbook 1 + 2 = 3 example.

The release DLL passed six Excel reference-entry cycles, cancellation preserving the original cell value, three normal tab-handler checks, a subsequent + new-document check, and 22 actual ribbon-content checks. Native regression and installer checks, plus remaining limits, are documented in the validation record.

Download the x64 EXE installer or ZIP below. Save your work and fully exit Office before upgrading. Settings are preserved. The installer is unsigned; checksums are provided in SHA256SUMS.txt.

Fixes a new-document initialization path that could leave Word's ribbon and title-bar controls blank after clicking the tab bar's + button.

• Queue the native new-document command after the tab's mouse message returns, preserving the intended tab group or independent-window choice.
• Defer Word pane creation and window coordination until activation callbacks return and expanded ribbon content is ready. Collapsed ribbons are not forced open.
• Check the actual visible NetUI content, rather than treating a visible ribbon frame as proof that its controls are present.

The functional fix passed 24 Word cycles and 12 cycles each in Excel and PowerPoint. The release rebuild updates version strings to 0.1.8; these runtime checks used the same functional changes before that version-only rebuild. Native regression tests and installer payload checks are also recorded in the validation record.

openOfficetab now supports English and Simplified Chinese in the add-in and installer. One package includes both languages.

• New Language / 语言 setting: Follow Windows (default), 简体中文, or English. Automatic mode uses Chinese for Chinese Windows display languages and English for other languages.
• Language choices persist across restarts and sync across running Office instances. Ribbon labels, menus, tooltips, settings, and add-in prompts update without rebuilding document panes.
• Bilingual installer, installation / uninstallation / diagnostics messages, and package instructions. The installer has its own language selector.
• Fix uninstall registration cleanup for newer hash-versioned installation directories.

File names and document content are unchanged. Office save prompts and native Windows dialogs retain their own language.

Install: save your work and fully exit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including background instances, then run openOfficetab-0.1.7-setup-x64.exe. Alternatively, extract the entire ZIP and run Install.cmd. This is a per-user, Windows x64 / 64-bit Office package. The installer is unsigned; verify downloads with SHA256SUMS.txt.

Six native test suites passed. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint each loaded the same verified DLL and passed manual-language selection, automatic selection, cross-instance synchronization, Ribbon callback, and stable-window checks. Installer language selection and text layout were checked without running installer operations. Complete visual coverage across Office versions / DPI settings remains limited; see the repository validation record.

• 语言选择跨重启保留，并同步到已打开的 Office 实例。功能区、菜单、提示、设置与插件对话框随之更新，不重建文档窗格。
• 安装器、安装 / 卸载 / 诊断输出及安装包说明支持中英文；安装器有独立语言选择。
• 修正卸载脚本只匹配早期版本目录的问题，新版本也能正常注销。

文件名和正文不做翻译；Office 保存提示与 Windows 原生窗口沿用各自语言。

• 修复 PowerPoint 标签切换和窗口调整后的活动文档协调。
• 明暗主题默认跟随 Office / Windows，保留手动选择，改善深色融合栏背景与边缘。
• 多标签时点击窗口关闭按钮，可选择关闭当前、本组全部或取消，并记忆选择；保留 Office 原生保存提示。

openOfficetab 0.1.5 增加最近关闭重开、文件偏好和运行中的外观同步，并改善融合标签栏与 Office 功能区的交接。

• 最近关闭：功能区或标签菜单打开最近 20 个已保存文件；已打开时直接切换，支持清空。取消关闭和仍在打开的隐藏文档不会入列，未保存内容继续使用 Office 自身恢复。
• 按文件记住：手动宽度和独立窗口选择跨重启保留；首次保存 / 另存为继承当前选择。提供单文件和当前应用重置。默认宽度不再覆盖手动调整。
• 即时同步：外观、颜色和默认宽度自动同步到已运行的实例；忙碌或原生对话框时延后。按键合并和原子写入避免多个应用互相覆盖设置。显隐、停靠、窗口跟随和关闭行为不做运行中联动。
• 外观修整：融合底色保留 #F0F0F0，外框恢复与功能区相配的侧边留白和上下圆角，保留底部细线；对已验证功能区底缘补齐外侧背景。独立面板、底部停靠、高对比度和未知布局使用原有显示路径。

文件历史和偏好仅保存在本机 documents.ini，不含正文、不上传；路径是格式编码，不是加密。脱敏诊断不包含历史路径。

原生测试与三宿主的关闭重开、偏好恢复、首次保存 / 另存为、设置同步、功能区可见性和安装载荷校验已通过。圆角和接缝的最终观感待使用者确认，没有自动截取新截图。完整边界见 验证记录。

openOfficetab 0.1.4 修正 Word、Excel、PowerPoint 标签切换的窗口协调，并增加标签栏颜色自定义。

• 同组切换沿用点击所在窗口的当前位置和尺寸，处理窄窗口与最大化文件之间的切换；独立窗口与其他组不跟随。保留 Office 原有文档，不重挂或重新打开文件。
• OLE 占位不再接管 Office 的菜单和工具栏；窗格压缩增加归属与尺寸保护，修复控件销毁时的重复释放。
• 融合样式默认底色为 #F0F0F0。在 … → 标签外观 → 标签栏颜色… 输入六位色值或用调色板选择，支持恢复默认；深色与高对比度优先。
• README 同时展示旧款独立面板和新版融合样式，由使用者提供并审阅的三款应用截图。

构建、原生绘制 / 输入 / 窗口状态与安装包校验通过。Word 完成 8 次新建和 12 次双向切换；Excel、PowerPoint 各完成 4 次新建和 12 次切换，功能区可见性和占位布局检查通过。真实 Windows 吸附手感、调色板和取消按钮仍需人工检查；偶发问题并非全场景保证。详见 验证记录。
