What's New

Noah is now open source! This is the first public release.

Highlights

  • First-run setup screen — Download the app, launch it, paste your Anthropic API key, and you're ready to go. No terminal required.
  • Friendly personality — Noah talks to you like a friend who's good with computers, not like a robot.
  • Auto-approved diagnostics — Noah investigates problems silently in the background. Only potentially risky actions (like deleting files) ask for your OK, with a plain-language explanation of why.
  • Session history — Your past conversations are saved and accessible.
  • 20+ macOS tools — Network diagnostics, printer fixes, performance monitoring, app troubleshooting, and more.

macOS only for now. No pre-built binary in this release yet — see below to build from source.

Build from Source

git clone https://github.com/xuy/noah.git
cd noah
pnpm install
./run_mac.sh

You'll need: macOS, Node.js 18+, pnpm, Rust (rustup.rs), and an Anthropic API key.
