Steps to reproduce:

  • install the FM 2.2.3
  • go to File Manager app homepage
  • click on "New file"

Result:

  • the drop files section is missing

ie9-xs10 8 1

Expected result (on IE11 for example):

  • the drop files section is displayed

ie11-xs10 8 1

Tested with XS 10.8.1 and FM 2.2.3

Quick question for my knowledge: Does XWiki SAS support IE9? The XWiki open source project dropped support for it a long time ago. Is there a list of supported browsers by XWiki SAS somewhere? Thx

@vmassol I suggest you contact the Sales team of XWiki SAS. They can answer your questions about supported browsers and IE9 support in particular.

As for this specific issue, it was raised by our Support team so there is a client that has support for IE9 included in his contract because:

  • the client uses an old version of XWiki where IE9 was supported
  • the client sponsored the development of the File Manager Application and asked for IE9 support expressly
